SPELP issues can be indeed be different and difficult to pinpoint at times because the error code shows for a variety of different issues; most often it can be an issue with a player’s local connection, but like in the case quoted above in the original post, it was an issue with a particular ISP.

Are you having issues with MY ISP by chance?
Is there anything that can be done?
All of us are confused by we all started having the issues at the same time, across the globe, with different isp.
I mean I get your position but Is that it?

I spoke to 2 different reps and both confirmed it was a technical issue (server instability). First one just opened a ticket right away for me. 2nd one tried to reset all my character instance (I was kicked out of game and sent back to pridehome). Now I have a horrible latency on top of the error OP posted.

Almost impossible to do dungeons without getting kicked out. Not to mention I bought another crystaline and all this crap happen. Honestly I hope everyone who lost entries due to the error get compensated (chaos, abyss, guardians if you dc before claiming rewards).

Kinda bad they knew it was widespread and they didn’t mention anything. Most probably this is gonna be the last Amazon game I ever gonna play.

How is this a local connection issue when people have proven multiple times that stuff dies at the AWS side? If by local you mean your local connection, then you are correct.

I am from Europe but not from France and I run into this issue all the time, as do thousands of other people. Saying this is a “local connection” issue is just AGS putting the problem at the player’s side when it isn’t and you know that. There are people in the same household, with the same WIFI where one person has this problem while the other one doesn’t. That is not a local connection issue, that is an AWS issue.

I ran Wireshark to monitor what was going on and the connection is 100% stable until the disconnect happens at which point AGS causes a lot of packet losses or malformed packets which the game sees as a reason to disconnect instead of simply going into a retrying connection or switching servers under the hood. If this was caused by local network issues it would be all over the place with more applications than just Lost Ark. I also ran a packet loss monitor on the background, zero: ZERO packet losses on anything that isn’t Lost Ark, and even Lost Ark doesn’t have packet losses until it decides to boot you out. Ran traceroutes against the connections the game spits out and they just die out once they reach AWS servers. The list just keeps piling up proving this is not a player’s network issue.

Here we have our American players having the same issue and all you are putting out there is: “it is a local connection issue”, “please verify game integrity, firewall, DNS, w/e”, “We are looking into it”.

These vague answers give us nothing but excuses. What are they doing to fix this? What are their current findings? Any update at this point would be better than the vague answers or the complete silence we have been getting up to now.

@Roxx If you have time, could you address the things in Lilinoth’s post. They are basically all the questions we have been asking with all the knowledge we, your players, have gathered.
We really enjoy the game and would like to continue playing it.

Its been happening ALL morning, probably the worst amount of disconnections yet.
Im not sure if coincidence that there was a hotfix update … but last few days has almost no problems… sad days for us!

Agreed this has been happening all day for me, making the game unplayable. No other games are being affected, just this one.

In a game where Time is everything…
This is why your players are upset.
We wait for an hour to go to an island.
We get to boss to nearly dead and you disconnect us.
It takes 3-4 minutes for your game to even load.
When we get back we lost credit, we wasted an hour+ and have nothing to show for it
On top of which we lose out tickets/ressonance and are often penalized for 10+min waiting to even TRY AGAIN.

I have done it guys, uninstalled the game and got rid of a big problem. I have literally talked to 4 different customer services, formatted my pc, used any other choice that i could fix on my end to make this game work but they simply fucked the game over on that update for some minority, and they dont want to look back, even thought that fucking ‘minority’ that they think will be the only players of this game remaining if they just keep doing shit like this. There has been a tons of different posts on this forums about this issue since that update, they just locked it up inside a specific ISP issue and called it regional, and got on with their lives. I have created a post to pin point that there are people literally in every region experiencing this still since that update, no replies. It has literally been 2 weeks, everyone who were facing this issue already quitted on the 2nd day that you didnt even dared to RESPOND to the forum messages, and merged every post on a regional problem. I am residing in Turkey, these people are from USA, how can we literally play every other game that there is without any problems at all, but if i connect to your game i get dc’ed in 30mins-2hrs, and the guys on your customer service tells that these problems are on our end lol. I really wish this game was brought to the west by steam itself or smt, i think even blizzard wouldve done better than this crap providing. Give up your hopes when its still early, we have been waiting for 2 weeks now, they just dont respond, they dont give a f about this problem at all, since it is an spelp problem, they have to restructure their whole servers in order to fix what they have broken on that update, which they wont do for like 2 months. We can come back when the game starts to decline, only on that time they’ll start to care about this ‘minority’ that they are thinking inside their head

Got the error while trying to claim a guardian soul >> one soul lost without any loot
Got the error while running chaos dungeon >>> aura consumed
Got the error while running abyss >> lose weekly entry

Not to mention I bought a crystalline aura and now all this crap happens.
