So, after the Punika Support pack fiasco, they lost a lot of players. Lots of players that, for them, wasn’t just “the pack,” but the final straw on the camels back, if you will. And I would say a majority of players gave them a day to see if they would rectify their mistake. They did not. So players left and AGS had to explain the abrupt drop in players by creating a ban wave to coincide with the drop. It also seems regular players are being affected by this without any botting history. Also a good cover as to say a good portion of players were accidentally banned as false positives, by us, AGS, further diluting a percentage of players leaving. AGS to the share holders, “We’ll get them back, momentarily.”

People are just quitting in general. The end game is just not very fun. Its just Legion Raids, and a lot of “gambling”, in forms of honing, casino stones, and loot boxes. Legion Raid is not going to save the game. Its just another abyss dungeon, that will become a chore after a few weeks.

they literally announced the ban wave like 2 days before the weekly maintenance which introduced the pack to the store it has nothing to do with one another at all

Same copy paste every day, no dynamics to anything, no soul to anything.

Legion bosses are best fights in any mmo, but again , they are 1 extra timed bullshit you must do in game because they tell you to do.
The only real content the game is giving you is the honing system. This game is all about honing. You honed to +25, congrats, you won the game.

- and 99% sure most of the players dont even buy anything in the game
- and 99% of those are like oh yeah i’ll get it on the next update when it’s officially released
- and no, 500k dip is not players quitting, players quitting would mean we drop from 870k to 890k because you dont even count and they make more bots

and they are just 2 fights that you do once weekly for the rest of your life, that’s the end game content, same 2 or 3 bosses you do once a week for the rest of your life

i honestly was still enjoying the game, have been playing sinse early acess as well…
the bots were a problem i could tolerate…
them not keeping said pack on the shop but limiting it to 1 purchase per account ticked me off
them messing up the login rewards put me over the edge today…
i will be taking a break from the game until they at least fix the log in issue, if they even do at all
Right, because explaining numbers, inclines, drops, population decrease to investors and shareholders is such a far fetched notion. It’s business. Things like this take place all the time. Just because you have no idea about it or can’t understand it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
It’s pretty clear that AGS started taking serious action against botting just after the 800k players PR move.
Nah the pack led to no mass exodus of players. It was just there for a moment because ags/smilegate are incompetent (surprise). To prevent the shitstorm they should have just admitted the mistake and refund the packs to those who bought them in crystals and give one free to every player that isnt a bot. But at this point ags/smilegate can just tank any possible negative pr cause we are used to it and endure it.
