To top it off, it says in-game that “A Legion Raid that has consumed an entry count can be played repeatedly until cleared”.
It’s a pretty significant loss tbh, maybe like 90-100k long term.
Regardless of the amount lost though, it’s not something that should just be “lesson learned” and move on, this is a major problem AGS needs to address.
Stop making excuses for terribly implemented game mechanics that cause issues for hundreds to thousands of people. AGS isn’t paying you (or they are which would explain a lot).
Agree with everything except for the idea that the terrible game design affects hundreds of thousands of people. That’s basically every real player left. I’d bet over 50% of the remaining players are so high on copium that they think that every bad decision/design is actually good.

The server going down didn’t come out of nowhere they didn’t crash and it tells you to log out beforehand.
They cant have it so you dont lose entrances for disconnects because this is a carry heavy game where the person busing could just have a secondary they pay to eat their entrance and disconnect so they can bus multiple times a week. They arent gonna change out lockouts work because some people in NA cant figure out that you have to stop the raid before leaving.
It actually did. Not the one that affected me, but they had 2 more emergency maintenance, one of which had barely any warning.

There is currently zero indication that staying on until maintenance can have any negative effects. Not even a vague “log out” message. Currently there is nothing but a notification of when the maintenance is.
Oh no some people might bus multiple times…
Not like you could specifically make that against the rules and only target bad actors…
Not like you could only take lockouts if someone DCs and then the boss is cleared after…
Clearly a group of 8 people getting DCed from maintenance were trying to abuse a loophole to do multiple busses.

There is currently no way to “figure out you have to stop the raid” besides having this happen to you. Zero indication at all. It doesn’t even make sense logically. Why would I keep a lockout if I stop 30sec before maintenance, but lose it if I play 30sec longer in the instance and maintenance DCs my group?
And I quote: “[Maintenance] 5/21/2022 12:00am PDT, 5/21/2022 07:00am UTC. Estimated downtime: 4 hours.” that’s all it says, it never said to “log out beforehand” nor does the 5 minute warning.
That’s why re-entry tickets are reserved for game server outages, which is what this is… “when equipment is closed down” from the Oxford dictionary…
Another maintenance for the west coast, but no one has addressed our issue?
They promised a reply yesterday, but expect them to wait until Thursday and go “oops I forgot/it took too long, too late now, and no we can’t retroactively give affected people a ticket because that would take a small amount of effort”.
Or just never reply about this again.
The tickets the system has sent me in the past, I had to “Use” it. I wonder if they were to send one after reset, if that means we can complete both Valtans on the same day that we should have already had access to if their system worked as advertised.
Might be better if you tell the team that having the content lockout without having the rewards being claimed is stupid. It doesnt matter if someone ragequits in the middle, there are multiple factors to such a horrendous act but some can be justified. In all honesty its dumb that content locks you out because of some maintenance.

Doubtful. Probably an attempt to deal with the large number of queues (or kick the bots off the game to reduce the queue count)

Roxx in another thread said they already sent out tickets to those affected. Yet there is still many people, including everyone in my guild who did not get a ticket yet.
Roxxs post said “over the weekend” but many of us were affected before the weekend. Are we screwed?

Just… don’t run the raid if theres a maintence going to happen. Just quit the raid for now and do it after maintence idk why you guys think they need to tell you that it consumes ur weekly entry. You took the risk, too bad so sad.
In what mmo does being in a raid or party finder consume your ability to rejoin to clear the raid. Don’t come at me with some dumb remark your not funny and if you were in our shoes you wouldn’t be saying that. The fact you come on the forum to say something like that is toxic.
