There NEEDS to be a warning that maintenance taking down the servers makes you lose your content lockout

Sure, but youre choosing to pay. Youre not entitled to anything for willingly spending on microtransactions.

There was a 2 1/2 warning ahead of time. Youd had plenty of time to stop raiding before the servers went down. You all willingly chose not to. Just sounds like you lack any real common sense.

Convince me how’s this player’s fault? Did he clear that phase? How is this common sense when he didn’t even kill the boss nor claim the reward?

I was expecting my entry count to stay because there was no explanation around how we could lose our entry count by getting disconnected during one, regardless of a maintenance or server issue.

I don’t really think that’s fair to say you lack common sense. There are other games that do lockouts based on loot being received and actually clearing the content.

And I don’t have anything against the 2.5 hour warning, but how they presented the warning. There is no indication that you have to be out of the instance by then. Plus Mari was having crap servers and my group wanted to try Valtan a little bit before we had to leave…

Have you gotten the re-entry ticket yet? I lost the entry ticket as well.

Unfortunately not.

Absolutely makes 0 logical sense that you’re locked to a raid upon disconnect without obtaining loot. Waiting on my re-entry ticket as well.

Amazon support said we should get a re-entry ticked within 24 hours but it’s already been 12+ hours and most of the weekend is gone. Mari went down AGAIN after the initial maintenance for another hour, my entry was lost when the server went down again after the scheduled maintenance was completed. @Roxx is someone looking into this? Several people on Mari we’re affected by this and I know other servers had issues with the initial maintenance.

This is absolutely unacceptable. There is no way for people to predict that their entry would be blocked for the rest of the week. Every MMO ever had people running the boss for practice until servers went down. There is no possible way you guys think this okay. My whole guild can’t participate and we’re all behind a week because of a lack of foresight on your end. It’s obvious we aren’t the only ones experiencing this issue. You need to have re-entry tickets issued by the end of the week.

By this logic, how is Amazon/Smilegate even earning from this game, if people are not entitled to anything for willing to spend in the game? Are you dense? Server was NOT warned 2 and a half hours ahead, don’t know where you plucked that number from, probably from another idiot in this thread. The warning only came 15 MINUTES before the maintenance starts when my group was already in gate 1 of Valtan. The blue text that appears at the bottom left hand of the screen only appeared 10 MINUTES before the UNSCHEDULED maintenance. You seriously lack any common sense to think that every game’s maintenance should take up a boss raid clear count.

You are shitty, I don’t know what you were expecting.

When the team is back in the office, this is something I can bring up and see if there is a better way to communicate these things.

This is seriously getting ridiculous, there will be no confidence in going for raids anymore if these unscheduled maintenance/disconnects are going to happen frequently and not communicated while taking away our entry counts

This recent maintenance/hot fix was scheduled as for disconnects, that is sadly out of our hands when servers decide to have a problem. But as mentioned above, I’ll let the team know that we need to keep looking into forms of communication and reimbursement.

All 8 of our guild group pushed to 1445 to progress valtan this week. We were getting close to killing it and played until maintenance. Feels so bad that we may not be getting another entry ticket. Pushed to 1445 just to be disappointed.

The server having a problem is honestly not the issue here, the main issue would be why is the game removing the entry count when the BOSS IS NOT EVEN CLEARED. It does not even make sense that maintenance takes away entry count in the first place!

What I’m saying is there needs to be something in the announcement of the schedule that clearly states if you do not quit before the maintenance you may lose your lockout, because that is currently not communicated at all.

Also, do you by any chance know if the maintenance disconnection will trigger the re-entry ticket system? Because there are very mixed messages from support staff on this.
