Yeah honestly they should change that same with other dungeon entries like Chaos dungeon, Boss Rush, Cube dungeons and Chaos gates.
It was scheduled⌠3 hours and 10 minutes in advance.
If a maintenance is scheduled 2 hours in advance, will entry tickets still be lost? 1 hour in advance? 30 minutes in advance?
And what about those in EUC where the announcement goes out while most people are asleep?
All of this is besides the fact that the bigger issue is that lockouts are NOT being tied to actual claiming of rewards? Why is the system designed in such a way where someone can disconnected 1 minute into a raid, lose their entry, and then have to wait for a potential ticket?
If the above issue is not solvable do to however Smilegate has coded the game, then every maintenance announcement needs to come with explicit warning about content lockout. That warning NEEDS to show up as a pop up when we log in. Please push for more upfront communication in the UI, or at least tweet/make a forum post stating that warning and pin it.
And again, please see if it is in any way possible to change the way an entry gets âconsumedâ from the act of entering vs the act of claiming loot.
By the way, the maintenance was NOT scheduled (youâre referring to the hotfix that was on friday which people here are not referring to). Most people here are complaining about the urgent maintenance that was 15 hours ago and was supposedly to be 3 hours long for NAwest servers. There was no notice about except until 15 minutes before the game went down and the only notice from any of the channels (twitter, website, forums, etc.) was only when the maintenance was extended for another 4 hours

I have never experienced this kind of game operation so far.
Why is there a hotfix during peak hours. The Mari server gets extremely laggy for when I was planning on clearing Valtan and now I canât even try it on the weekend. This is really demoralizing.
Many players do not look at forums while playing, how are they just supposed to know. Are we suppose to check every 15 minutes and be paranoid about possible maintenance? In-game notifications are KING. This is a game, not a job. People shouldnât be required to constantly check the website in order to stay up today on server maintenances.
How exactly are people supposed to know they arenât allowed to do any content if there is a maintenance coming? Unless you are constantly reading the forums there is no possible way to know this is a thing that even happens.
Iâve raided up until maintenance in many other games and have never had issues with it taking your lockout away from you without completion.
My group was in valtan hard for around 5 hours and we ended our last pull right before the maintenance happened, we sat in the golden circle talking about our plans to down it today as the server went downâŚ
It just feels really shitty on the launch week of the most anticipated and hype content Lost Ark has gotten so far and weâre being stripped from the lockout.
The hotfix was scheduled for a time where the AVG least amount of players are online across every server.
Weâll never be able to take servers offline where everyone is happy.

Can we please get some clarity on which of the two contradicting responses about whether or not weâll receive a re-entry ticket is accurate?
You could have a message across the screen at server select if you plan on having scheduled maintenance, as well as having a heads up like normal in game.
You could also have a message at server select indicating server issues so people know that when they go to select that is the reason they may not be able to get in. Currently right now players try to log on get hit with an error and are confused.
Absolutely, I myself am confused hence why I havenât made a comment on it, but I will be asking tomorrow or Monday the latest to have a clear answer.
Checking forums if thereâs unexpected maint is irrelevant, because legion raids can be entered as many times as you want until you actually claim the loot from them that week. If people canât enter raids they didnât clear, nor get loot from, this should absolutely be considered a bug that happened during server maint, and not something a player should be responsible for âfor not checking the forumsâ. I know that that comment was made by your colleague, but it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever

thank you for looking into this Shadow, I am very sad that I cant do valtan over the weekend but hoping that I still can before the reset.
This is really frustrating and upsetting, multiple of my guilds groups were running yesterday (2 normal, 1 hard) and out of nowhere, the unscheduled NA West maintenance apparently happens. No warning to leave your valtan raid or be screwed out of an entry (Why is this a system). We all scheduled and made time available to clear it on a weekend(Saturday and Sunday here in Australia), and now according to some CMs, we may or may not get a reentry ticket and it may take up to 48 hours.
In 24-48 hours, all our static groups are not going to be available due to working in real life, or university or other plans etc.
Now we are locked out, 1 week permanently behind on crafting legendary and relic gear, loss of some relic accessories, and loss of weekly gold income seeing as orehard doesnât give gold anymore.
This went from the highest point in Lost Ark thus far, to the lowest point for me and many group mates thus far.

Being one of the top Guilds in Una server, we did not expect to have this issue with a game that has been releasing further content across other countries.
Further more, multiple twitch streamers have confirmed automatic re-ticketing in their region.
Yet we have delayed content and adding insult to injury this situation occurs.
Please fix, weekend is most of the free time working people have to enjoy Lost Arc. Donât hold out on us until Monday or give us free Matts. Just get us our tickets like all other countries have automated to them after patch.
