BTW, even if we consider only active users, it will be even more not accurate, since probably the most active users will be bots ![]()
The “active player base” point was made for those websites such as the one’s listed. These are specific communities who are one-off on games they have. Maybe “active” wasn’t the right word? I dunno, I suck at English.
Quoting myself to answer your question:
I highly doubt chronic achievement hunters would try to go for PVP achievements and that one achievement where you have to 100% all Adventurer’s Tome. Once they see those after playing the game, they probs decided to never touch it after realizing how taxing it is.
I don’t agree with using the steam metric system because of case-by-case scenario. People opening the game and never touching it, bots, and then there’s people like us who actually do the content. People who never done cube and chaos gate can hit tier 3. People who never done cube, but have done chaos gate can stay in tier 1. You can be 100% correct and it is bots that are responsible and there is low-engagement - I never disagreed with you there.
I know you’re probably thinking… “why is this person contradicting himself” but that’s just the nature of how these stats are.
well, i am pretty sure bots dont do Cube, or chaos gates and are not yet in the T3 (at least not in big numbers).
How many times does someone talk about steam achievements and we have to keep saying they arent real stats of the game
getting 302 = 20%
so 1 over 4 people at least t1 did cube… probably most of those who didnt simply left the game… we had 1m3 concurent player, we are now at peak 500k.
and it is not 800k people left, but far more… because we speak about CONCURENT PLAYER (not totall players) and even this way : from the 500k not all was there day1 or even not there during february at all and discovered game later…
Pretty legit, the 2 most significant times I wanted to quit are:
the first time i entered loghill and realized you can’t rebind G
T3 realizing all content is just a reskin of the same activities from now on
its not but unfortunately we keep pushing back all of our content then complaining about how theirs no content, so gg i guess to the west
The stats are real, it’s just that in a F2P game they aren’t meaningful because it’s a percentage of everyone who has installed the game that has achieved that achievement – which includes bot accounts, people who installed and played for a few hours or a day or two and uninstalled (happens a LOT with F2P games where anyone can just install it for free and give it a try), and so on. So it doesn’t reflect what the “actual playerbase” is doing when compared with something like, say, Elden Ring, which isn’t free and doesn’t have massive numbers of bots.
There’s just not any way to get accurate stats for the active playerbase of this game based on the Steam stats. It doesn’t mean that the Steam achievements are “bugged”. It means that because of the large number of bot accounts and other accounts that tried and left fairly quickly, the stats are not meaningful as a picture of the progress of the active playerbase through the game.
It also indicates just how big a problem bots are, but we knew that already anyway.
keep coping, amazon has already stated they arent realistic stats to follow in comparison to their own, you be safe
also hundreds of thousand of bots are in T1 so T3 players sound low in comparison
damn so much posts for a simple Answer already stated in the second post of this topic.
Steam Archievments are bugged. I have 100% of all Adventure Tomes but wasn’t able to do a Chaos Gate without dying according to my archievments for the Game.
Pls stop making Threads based on bs.

Looks like that for you, achievements are important just when you reached them hahaha Sorry, but numbers are numbers. All other achievements are also important and reflect specific gameplay - Some related to personal choices, others because are bots.
Can you please share where AGS says that Steam numbers are not accurate?
the low percentages are only because we have more bot accounts than player accounts. Also tons of palyers just stopped playing after a few days, their accounts still exist and count towards it obv
That’s a valid point. Anyway, as bots, we’re also active. Anyway, that’s definitely a solid point.
Anyway, 95% of playerbase being bots or people that stopped due a few important and trivial achievements, concern me a lot
It was pretty funny to me as a completionist who noticed the “play this song 150 times for a title” for every song in the game so I decided to sit in my stronghold and spam them having around as much completion as the “complete platinum field for the first time” achievement.
This one is the kind of achievement that take time, but 1300 gear is a thing that makes me think. Just 3.9% of the whole playerbase reached it. Sounds wrong, but the data is there. Dont have reasons to think it is totally inaccurate. If so, Steam would remove that.
I think it’s because a lot of the players from launch probably quit for many reasons this game had a HUGE hype and I think a lot of people were misled that this was completely different from other KMMO since a lot seemed shocked by the honing system.
But more than that I think a lot of players have been distracted with side progression that may not of been “getting through Punika” Like the first 3-4 weeks of the game I honestly just got classes to Luterra castle and did PvP before it awarded anything, I’m sure there’s others like it even though I’ve gotten a few characters to 1300 now. I think the Feiton powerpass and super express even will push some people the amount needed to get them to T3 content.
Some people have downloaded the game and even never opened it. Steam stats are flawed.
If we have 1000 players, 39 trutly reached T3. The rest, 961 players, are bots or people that stopped
Does this maths not concerning you all?
