Perma bans don’t really remove bots, rather inconvenience them for the time period. It’s so easy to make a new account, and ip and hardware bans don’t work since their rigs have spoofers(like 15$).
So they ban accounts, bots create new ones, until we get a solution from SG to make it harder or get a harder account creation(which won’t comply with many laws on the west market, can’t use personal docs).
AGS actually did surprisingly well on this. They just have to keep doing. The bots will still exist, just in a different state and not farming t3.
Even if it is not about whaling through RMT… Those people have in general tendencies of a higher income. So, if they don’t spend gold on mats, then most likely on gacha and stuff.
If you watch the offer/demand we had few days ago, it is more than obvious that only a few people (in relation to the whole population of LA), are not RMTing. (Which is crazy)
The thing is that people like u cannot put themselves on a place of a company, and understand that these “Whales” are the main tool of survivability of the game in total. Remeber that 20% of the players are bring 80% of the revenue. And if they are going to ban these 20% its an equal action to step into a street naked and yell that u are an idiot.
May be they will punish RMTers with another week of ban but thats it, they are not going to ban them permanently…Just deal with it fella.
Inaction will change nothing, if you see injustice you should act. I see Americans love superhero movies and comics, fight back bots and rmters, it’s not like you have to put your life on the line, just give them feedbacks, write steam review, vote with your wallets, do what ever you can.
Maybe they will listen, maybe they won’t but at least that you better off as a person fight for what you love, believe in what is right, and not regret about what could have done, blame others for your own inaction.
Maybe I’m missing something but ‘‘legit whales’’ are the ones that give money to ags buying legit royal crystals, the RMTers buy gold from bots and don’t support ags in any way.
Real numbers are more severe, in like every other business the 0,5-1% people make 50-60%. Talking about games I think these numbers are even smaller.
RMT in general pressures legit players to spend even more legally. There are no alternatives you can buy without getting banned.
A lot of players avoid RMT not getting banned and losing their 1700h playtime while the RMT player does not care. He just buys a new account on black market. Pumps in 200-500€ to get his old ilvl back.
Cheaters must be punished, no compromises.
