Will you? I dunno, in 7 months what s been clear is that most of events are to fill gaps between content.
I highly suspect the daily guardian one wasnt even meant to be but tossed there only when people complained bout an august devoid of anything to do.
That said, you all dont particularly seem interested in events actually making everyone slightly “happier”.
If you were, you wouldnt make an event completely based on rng.
It doeant have to be mandatory nor fixed, but in sure you can produce something that rather than giving 0 to 100 can eventually result in a middle ground satisfatiob for everyone.
The game whole is already completely based on rng which per se is one of lost ark greatest shortcomings. No need to keep it also in events produced to chill people. That only gets people more frustrated.
Less rng and a lower yet more widespread satisfaction is needed.

I know a few people who went deep into horizontal content, then i would get a random soul they have been farming for months when i did it like 3 times, and that would be frustrating. Most of them have quit. 2 were supports, 1 on my static. And he was really good.
I myself have never even done thunderwings because i am yet to get the omnium star from moake, so im doing moake every time its available.
So far i must have lost about 100k gold in armor/weapon upgrade orbs as im not doing thunderwings and doing moake instead of this poorly designed, obligatory-to-character-progression horizontal content rng.
Surprisingly I noticed this as well. I get significantly more silver drops. Seems like being unlucky is slightly more punishing now with even lesser gold.
