Too late now, but need to remove the stupid 30k mega jackpot and add a hidden pity system like for boss rush/cube tickets.

I know a few people who went deep into horizontal content, then i would get a random soul they have been farming for months when i did it like 3 times, and that would be frustrating. Most of them have quit. 2 were supports, 1 on my static. And he was really good.
I myself have never even done thunderwings because i am yet to get the omnium star from moake, so im doing moake every time its available.
So far i must have lost about 100k gold in armor/weapon upgrade orbs as im not doing thunderwings and doing moake instead of this poorly designed, obligatory-to-character-progression horizontal content rng.

Made 55k gold so far with a jackpot of 30k, so far i ain’t complaining, better than buying gold with RMT and crying that got banned hehe
i am not talking about luckers like you, i talk about people, like me who deserve rewards too mate …

Surprisingly I noticed this as well. I get significantly more silver drops. Seems like being unlucky is slightly more punishing now with even lesser gold. 
I did notice from last week the amount of silver skyrocketed aswell

Bad indeed, full of people 24/7 on EUW dead server.

One thing i figured out.
Its always only 3 Lucky Seeds per Channel. (Its always only 1 Channel at the time i do the event)
And those 3 Seeds Spawns in the same Second.
And <50% Completion always spawns like 90% silver, >50% the gold coins appear pretty more often, so noone going empty handed.
But every Gold Drop earns more to Completion then Silver, so the last 50% going much faster.
I tend to not believe you. Or you must be on the deadest server existing.
