Beyond any common sence this filter, I can chat normal with friend ingame and this is MMO.
And this issue been since release in west and NOTHING has still yet been done to solve this mess of “filter”.
No wonder global chat channels are pretty dead ingame.
the german word frühstücken (havin breakfast) is censored. it seems absolutly random and makes talking to ppl a huge mess.
but with all the known problems - they don’t give a fuck (no censorship in forums <3)

You cant even write 2 numbers without it being censored. i.e. 900 1200

It will fixed slowly with the time. Half year ago, it was an hell. It was stupid funny like “Frau” (Woman) was censored.

It wouldn’t be so bad if the filter ONLY applied to area chat and say, but having it in every other chat is dumb. Especially given the filter isn’t even primarily designed as a profanity filter, but instead to limit gold spam. The amount of times I’ve responded to someone in a Global Chat, wrote a whole damn paragraph, then had it say “not appropriate” because I had the audacity to add in more then 4 numbers.
When I can call someone a cunt, but can’t type in 1415-1430 or 6x1370 then someone has clearly lost the plot on what a profanity filter actually is and should just be removed.

Why the hell was Frau censored? They really need to get someone on the dev team that actually speaks the languages that they are translating the game into. Just embarrassing and ridiculous.
I’ve raised this issue over to the development team and they are checking into it.
