This is Infuriating

It’s the first MMO I’ve played that has 3x the accelerated schedule compared to original version with less mats than they had.

If it was normal release schedule I’d be fine, but I don’t want to play a game that’s on a speedrun without proper mats boost because in like 3 months I’ll be 2 releases behind and there’s no point in playing then.

Do you know that 20% of the playerbase are bots and another 20% are alts?

it’s called RNG. And now, please, link me any clue or statement you’ve read when you’ve made your research before playing that this game doesn’t have RNG involved. And there is one, right? Or why else would you be here?

“Oh, it’s a nice bread you’ve baked. But wouldn’t it be better if it was a ham?” argument?

In a mobile game it took me 1 year to cook a damn dish with 50% success chance and my wife around 3 months in asks what I’m trying to get and she gets it in less than a week xD

That 3.3% is based on the account, not characters. Sure you can take out even 50% of the population and assume they are bots, but that’s still 6.6% of the player base at 1300.

What’s the complain about when the devs already recognized the issue?

There’s a difference between some RNG and lottery level RNG.

Right now it’s lottery level pretty much.

Doing tier1 island Walpurgis 44 times to get the token is bad RNG for example, same as honing.

Failing on all 4 of my tripod upgrades with 60% chance to succeed is just bad luck on my part.

Yeah, they “recognized” it weeks ago and the issue is still here.

Much like “we expected people to reach Argos in a month” was a blatant lie. They knew excatly what to expect and made ton of money off it. Only the most naive people will eat up that apology unless they start fixing stuff and giving us missing content instead of some gimmicky even that gives us extra mats for no effort.

We have some changes that go unnoticed that actually helps us push item level as well. It might not mean much to some, but it does really make a difference.

For example, the legendary Chosen Set (from Oreha HM - 1370 Abyss) doesn’t exist in other regions. What does this mean? That for us, clearing 1370 HM + 1370 Argos gives us 5 pieces out of the 6 the very first week. If we didn’t have this change, we’d be stuck in purple gear from Oreha HM (which was 1355 in other regions). Argos P1 from week one would’ve given us 2 pieces, which wouldn’t be enough to push item level to get P1-P2-P3 next week, so we’d get only 1 or 2 pieces the following week. Basically, you’d take 3 or 4 weeks just to get the full legendary set. Now we take just one, and we can push item levels past 1370 more easily.

Why is it a lie, when they calculated that based on the history with statistics in Korean server? I bet Koreans were speedrunners, and dev’s fault assuming every region would be the same, but that still isn’t a “lie”

Tell me any single game that would fix such a problem within a week?

Any real stats? and why is it your problem that whales paid their money when the dev even said don’t rush it?

I will never forget farming Gut Ripper dagger in WoW, in Stranglethorn Valley…

The drop rate was below about 0.1% and people used to farm it for weeks. I went there with 2 of my guildmates and after about 10 minutes, both of them got the item, while I spent the next 3 months grinding that mother, on my alt, until it finally dropped.

The same thing with the Deathcharger mount… 1% chance, half of my guild got it in a couple of weeks, and I spent 7 years farming it almost every chance I got and it never dropped…

RNG is a bitch…

Fair point about Oreha loot, but at that point you already at least reached P1 while the rest of us mere mortals have nothing to do except for subpar normal version that’s easy to clear at 1325. Same goes for third guardian that was moved to help people with legendary accessories, but that means deadzone players keep beating guardian that’ 1325 in other regions.

I literally have no challenging stuff to do and won’t have for weeks to come, it’s the most frustrating part out of all. Moake is the highlight of my day. At this pace I’ll have two sets of full legendary accessories before I reach 1370.

And how much time did Koreans have between releases? Like can you use a bit of common sense at least before trying to make an argument?

All I’m trying to say is that we’re playing the game at 3x speed while having less mats available, effectively making it close to 5x more difficult to gear up in time. And there’s absolutely no denying that.

Wanna keep speedrunning content? Give us more mats or slow it down, I’m fine either way.

??? I don’t even know what you are trying to say to be honest…

No one disagreed with that. Yes it is an issue. Does Devs also know that it is an issue? Yes.

Please “Don’t Rush It”. Like I said, only a single digit % of the player base is at 1300+ right now.

No it’s not.
Stop saying “it’s RNG!!” If the system in place says “you have X% chance of this happening” then it should be weighted to that effect.

A 90% chance should mean you might have 1 fail yes but having multiple in a row is just a stupidly small chance and almost impossible.
The way the system works out if you fail or not is not legit.

So either just say in game its a unknown random chance from 1% to 100% or make it work properly :frowning:

It’s a very famous and dull argument in statistics. Let’s say you flipped a coin, and got 10 heads in a row. What’s your percentage on getting another head on your next flip?

Is it a dull argument? because you are talking about a coin flip with a 50% chance, your next chance is always 50% regardless of your previous attempts. You are totally disregarding what I wrote. Let me counter your strawman with another.
Lets say you have a 6 sided die with 1 on one side and 6 on all the other sides. What is your chance to get a 1 multiple times in a row mr statistics?!

I’m trying to say that no matter what you think about someone’s playstyle devs will speedrush this game to catch up with KR by the end of the year.

And that everyone who’s not paying or playing 10h a day will be mutliple raids behind.

I’ve got no alts and I play like 4h a day on average, so I’m not rushing anything. But if you think that playing 10h a day and barely keeping up is fine, then I have nothing else to say.

…?

What are you trying to prove exactly? That you must get “1” from your dice every 6 times exactly?

To push to 1370 I had to suck it up and farm infinite chaos for several hours a day. I was grinding at least 1000 blue crystals a day (around 50 infinite chaos runs) to guarantee myself several taps from bound mats. Not everybody can do that due to time constraints, obviously, but it’s an option if you don’t want to spend money. Although it was a way better option 2/3 weeks ago, since AH prices were much higher.
