Add me to that list of DPS who will switch to support when Artist releases. There are players out there who don’t like Bard or Paladin but wouldn’t mind maining support.

People that actually care about it are not spamming “release artist to solve the problem” in the forums, i’m sure of that! These are, FOR THE MOST PART, just people that want to play artist for what it is and not because support is lacking.

It is probably a bit of both tbh. Wanting to play artist and wanting to help the issue of lack of supports.
This can be as flexible as we need it to be.
They can instantly have the support shortage problem fixed in a short term by June. Artist + Main rerroll event and boom, magic happens.
Then you plan a long term solution.
This doesn’t mean it will happen, but there ARE options of course.

People that intends to play Artist don’t really care about support shortage cause it won’t affect them at all. But it’s still good for the rest of us.
the first time roxx expressed this, it was with “flexible” part in the message… this is the third time roxx say it, the “may change” disappeared… and it is a recent message (the support shortage did already exist earlier in may… it didn’t suddenly appeared… this is an old topic)

I’m not saying they will release her just now, but a July release could be very appealing, just after Arcana.

best case scenario : august… Roxx said that while they were working on roadmap. on a topic asking if artist will be in the june/july roadmap. Roadmap that we should have this month, so this week… a hope of change about this statement is extremly low… close to zero.
and this best case scenario increase with a “faster class release” most artist don’t care to defend…
I’ve been supporting artist release 'cause she looks fun, but the past months the spam has been horrible, the aggressive quotes of those who cannot accept a “Pls stop marketing artist as Jesus and just tell people she’s fun” has made me gone very neutral.
It feels like if we were running elections with so much baseless “reasons” from people glorifying a class and so much “dangerous” bs to demonize her coming from both parties. Worst is, may whatever god you believe in, protect you if you are neutral.

thing is that has nothing to do with begging for certain class
i simply said that releasing a class isnt tied to solving the support problem
if x plays y class cause of aesthetic thats on them what they like, ultimately if you chose artist instead of bard we are still in the same boat, just cause there is a new class doesnt mean that suddenly supports will double in numbers, its just ppl who didnt wanna hardmain bard or pala will simply switch
or that other ppl will simply not play pala or bard but artist
if releasing artist was such a godsent then other regions would be swimming in supports, well, thats not the case
i still think the only option is to simply release a 1415 powerpass , for only pala bard artist whatever else support class you want added
anything else below simply wont do, cause even that would not make majority of the players start gearing up given how tedious the process is
Only support lover would really invest support class as main and alt, even they release artist most of the people will only play it as an alt or costumer waifu. At the same time people keep creating DPS alt as well. So lack of support is a very normal situation in MMOs. BTW I play 5 bards.

Similar, i did support artist while not any will to play it, because she looked fun, i know some people like those “cute little thing” (which is also why i don’t want to play her) and also because it is a new character model (so… between reaper/scouter or artist all i don’t want to play… clearly i prefer artist release)
And… The flood, the stupid argument, the “hey ags delay this” picture.
“not all artist” sure… but artist topic creation is insane… don’t care about “who”, in the end i got an overflow of “marketing artist” and now it is just a “stop this fucking marketing operation” in my mind…
stick to the old activ topic + the “artist appreciation”. make those topic living as i suggested a lot…
Imagine if each class did generate topic like artist are generating look at admir’s compulsiv scouter topic creation… ok… imagine if the 3 other classes are also doing it… imagine how the forum will look…
i think they will main it… until aeromancer release : same character model.

I still don’t see a viable solution
As a main support myself i’m looking forward to give it a try, will I main it? Most likely not.
But yea the spam is killing the hype and now with the “support issue” its getting worse because people are using it as an excuse to create even more of the same old release artist posts.
