I didn’t have this problem until today. I haven’t change anyhing with my set up. This error pops up sometimes in the server selection screen, in the character selection screen and in the loading screen when moving to other places.
I already tried to restart my router and pc. I did try to “verify integrity of game files” in steam and there was not an issue with that.
I hope you are having a great week so far. Let me apologize about this unexpected situation this is actually a know issue that the team is aware and working actively to solve it as soon as possible.
I recomend to try this steps that i have found around the forums it have worked for other players and i hope it works for you also:
Repair Easy Anti cheat ( Open Lost Ark Application in your Steam library and go to Settings → Manage → Browse Local Files > Open the AntiCheat Folder > Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file > Repair.
Troubleshoot the Firewall:
Press Windows + R, type “firewall.cpl” into the Run window, and then press Enter.
Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall and then click Change settings.
Look for the game in the list of allowed apps and features. If it’s present, make sure it’s checked, and that both the Private and Public columns have a check mark. If the app is missing from the list, you need to add it.
Click Allow another app…, locate and select the app, then click Add.
Once you’ve done that, you need to ensure that the app is checked, and that it has check marks under both the Private and Public columns.
I totally understand this situation can be a bit frustrating and i apologize for any inconvenience this had caused to your game experience.
I would like to note that this is the latest official troubleshooting we have found and it was helpfull for some players. Our team is actively working on this issue and apreciate all the feedback you have.

has anyone actually had this issue resolved? I have tried everything i can find as a possible solution and nothing works. I am currently at the mercy of AGS support getting back to me…waiting…waiting…waiting.
I don’t understand why this issue isn’t already fixed when I see the hundreds of posts here about it. How many ppl just walked away from the game?? SMH
