Those random guild penalties have to be a joke

I created a guild on day 1 of the founders early access. Didn’t like the name, deleted the guild shortly after, didn’t even invite anyone or anything. I had a penalty of 3 minutes. This isn’t what I’m talking about though.

Soon after I joined a guild where EVERYONE suddenly left for whatever reason. I then left too, and I got a 4 DAY PENALTY. Remember, this was after I disbanded my own guild, so the second one. I then read through other peoples posts, and apparently it’s completely random? Some can leave guilds several times and only have a penalty of a few hours, others have days, some A WHOLE MONTH of penalty.

What the hell is this RnG guild penalty stuff? I just want to finally join a friends guild but I still can’t after 4 days of waiting, others have to wait a whole month while relying on pure RnG if they have to wait minutes, days, weeks, months.

The hell?

This is insane. They should be a guild code or something explaining why you get this amount of penalty before you join a guild so you can make a mindful choice when you join or leave a guild.

I thought banning myself from my own guild using an alt would give me a lesser penalty. No, whether I left myself or got banned it was a 7 day ban for my 2nd time leaving a guild (1st was because i didn’t like my guild name)

What’s actually ridiculous is the guild leader doesn’t see what the penalty is, just that there will be a penalty. So a guild leader can nonchalantly ban some unsuspecting person and they’ll receive a ridiculous penalty
