True but one important piece of information is missing, that is we don’t know how many accounts they rotate through in a day. Let’s say the numbers show 100k bots. They may have that many running at that time, but after they finished what they had to do they go onto the next account. And this happens 24/7. So while it may show 100k, in reality it’s multitudes more because of how many accounts they have ready to log into.
Selling mats cause no need for them for 3 months, GvG gold cause its literally free to do, busses + raid gold, easily 30k a week. Maybe you are just playing the game wrong, your main should be pulling in over 30k a week, the other characters should be around 10-15k.
The new go to methods are still una weekly gold which they still make on every single account they have and bussing their 1370 bots through oreha hard modes. The majority of their gold isn’t coming from thronespire anymore.
But the players are generating more than that per week even if we just assume 3:1. Per character for weekly + oreha is only like 7k gold. There are accounts out there generating 200k a week. And a lot of them at that, those people don’t come to forums, as a vast majority of people don’t. Each account that generates thats 200k makes up for 30 accounts that don’t. You only need an average of 21k a week to match the bot production, and we are above that just considering main characters. As soon as thronespire is ilvl locked, bots will not be able to produce what players do.
I guess I’m doing something wrong then. Could you break down your gold from each source for me please?
One character bussing 3 raids, doing rested chaos and guardian raids only and selling mats for one week.
3 raids and busses - ?
Mats sold from chaos dungeons - ?
Leaps sold from guardians - ?
Gvg - ?
Anything I missed - ?
What do you think the average player’s roster looks like?
How many characters and their ilvls?
Just play the game, seriously just play the game in its entirety. Don’t skip gvg 10k gold just cause you don’t like pvp, its free money.
I’ve never done gvg. It’s 10k guaranteed every week?
The average player is getting 10k from this every week?
No the average player gets 0 from this because they are too lazy (this is literally it, just laziness, nothing to do with skill or anything, just show up and get top 3, not hard). So if my main can do this with very minimal money invested, and no alts pumping it, everyone can do this. This is a huge gold source in the game that is just ignored by a lot of people because its pvp and its scary. This shouldn’t be discredited as a gold source that people should be expected to have. If you are whining about gold, pheon costs, etc, you are playing the game wrong. So while I have gotten about 200k from this, others are just missing that 200k for some reason. Just my GvG income is enough to beat a bot character’s weekly income. My raid income more than doubles their income. So my solo character is accounting for 3 bot characters at least, and I am on the lower end of gold income in this game. The claim that it is copium to think that bots don’t make more than players is a joke. Players absolutely make more right now.
Yes, that is why there are not many whales sticking around and more likely to hit their relic gear… That explains the BC pricing which doubled the value. Not that many whales are playing, they already go their gear more than 2 months ago
Do you think that everyone out there is just RMT-GG and not buying legitly? The argument is flawed if you think that RMT and bots are the number 1 source of gold. Whales / Spenders again generally don’t have a limit, they can continue selling $$$ and hoarding gold to hit their target ilvl, engravings, or accessories. That increases the prices of all commodities they deal with, particularly whatever phase they are on, GHL, Engravings, the accessories 100 quality ones.
Whatever they deal with will be expensive, similar things will happen when a new honing mats is released.
Inflation - real one actual deal with all commodities because the price cascades unlike what we are experiencing. They are all tied to whales/spenders that can induce a price hike at any given time. That also explains why you have this honing price hike in NA-W and NA-E even though all other servers have remain constant. This also explains why B crystals are so expensive in South America where there is low bot populations and RMT. Not many whales out there, similar to what we are experiencing. Do you think whales are still playing “farming and grinding” something that they can buy frivously?
The price hike regarding end game will hike up again with the new content 1490 honing mats… please don’t blame it on inflation.
Mr solution has arrived!
Make Lost ark a paid game via monthly subscription ( like 10eu/month ).
Puff bots gone
Puff RMTers gone
Puff pheons gone as there are no more reason for them to exist
Puff no inflation anymore
Like with a touch of a magic wand all major problems wiped out.
But it’s not gonna happen. Game industry realized they can actually make more money on F2P business model.
Bots sell 200k for $40.
It takes a hardcore player with 6 1460+ characters bussing every raid, doing all of their dailies, etc. to make the same amount somebody can get for $40 from bot RMT sites. And the ah sales page still has hundreds of pages of obvious RMT transactions with several showing 500k+ transactions.
But it’s not bots driving the problem. It’s too many hardcore players generating too much gold every week.
Let us ask how WOW did it since they are sub-base…
They added the wow token in shop for a price that competed with RMT pricing. Making it a better option to just buy gold From them in game than going through RMT sites and risking the ban.
Unfortunately for lost ark, $100 in game gets you around 100k gold with a 3 day hold.
RMT sites - $100 gets you 500k and you get it in an hour.
Ok man, whatever you say. Like I said agree to disagree. Arguing is pointless. Your refusal to even link it to inflation tells me enough.
Because of selective pricing (end-game), no natural consumption of commodities is not LINK to inflation.
But hey keep telling yourself that LVL 10 gem pricing is the cause of players having too much gold but not whales having unlimited access to gold.
Damn bro, that’s exactly what AGS need to hear (or read) right now. It’s a shame they are a bunch of incompetent folks looking for a quick cash grab and won’t even get near this thread.
Btw, I’m from Kazeros server, the biggest one on the South America region. Our legendary Grudge is getting more expensive as I write this. 100 Blue Crystals is around 4000 gold. Tons of people are quitting because of frustration. We don’t have regionalized prices, so everything in the cash shop costs more to us – yada yada, you’d probably already heard about it before.
We’re “suffering” and by the looks of it we won’t make to the end of the year (the game in our region won’t see the end of the year to be specific).
Thanks for telling me you have no clue what I’ve been saying if that’s what you think I’m telling myself. Anyways have a nice day.
ded game kekw. I told ya’ll this game is fucked. Was fun while it lasted but ya’ll should never invest too much when the signs are clear.
i have a top 6 roster that could all run argos, valtan and vykas for a few months and I had 7 characters at Yoho or Velganos.
If i did everything I could on all characters (all chaos dungeons, all birds and all rested yohos, all raids, all oreha abyss plus carry for no bid orehas on my top 6), I made about 160k-200k gold.
And I didnt even bus and I didnt sell any of my gems. In the meantime more players reached a state of making considerable gold per week plus RMT obviously seems to be going on at a high rate still.
TLDR: The inflation won’t stop anytime soon. Clown introduces no real new gold sinks.
