Spelling transfer as xfer is VERY common and has been around a VERY long time.
“Trans” in this sense indicates a relocation from one thing to another. My guess is that x is a graphical interpretation of a path crossing from one side to another.

Which arent related to progression, %chance increases, etc.
Abyss and Yoho was changed to 1370 to provide great honor leapstones, and legendary gear.

No, but we dont have to pay experience shards to transfer our gear to 1340 base gear for example which kr and ru have to do, thats progression based. You can very well argue that you dont want to have anything changed from the kr version to get the same experience, you do you. But saying its impossible is just wrong.
I don’t have a simple and good solution to tripods but must say that farming them for 3 days just to fail 10+ times with 30% and 15% is not the best feeling ever.

I mean you will have a full inventory of relic tripod gear with only 10% chance with powder at level 5. Doesnt feel good, but its just part of the game.
I’m not complaining about tripods, just pointing out that it’s gambling not grinding. The amount you grind is irrelevant when your tripods will ultimately be dictated by luck. IMO this is fine for horizontal progression.

It’s extraordinary how many people will attack you for making suggestions, they’re projecting, they just assume your intentions are the worst they can imagine, they are PROJECTING… but all they’re doing is being negative, hostile, and not helping discussion at all, which is why I wind up muting or ignoring a lot of people around here.
Probability is grinding
The balance is to make the grind enjoyable and not feel blatantly like a casino.
This game really fails in this regard.

Thank you for clarifying. Yes this is true, but probability doesn’t guarantee individual outcomes. Player X can grind 10x the amount of Player Y and still have worse tripods. Is that likely, on average? No. Does it happen? Yes. As I said this doesn’t bother me as much for horizontal progression, but it IS gambling and there is no guarantee that grinding will improve your outcome.
I don’t know why it is so hard for you to understand a basic principle.
Probability is based on chance and repetition.
So is gambling or grinding however you wanna call it. It doesn’t matter what word you put to it, from a factual standpoint it’s the same.
For a 10% chance event to happen with 99.9% probability you have to repeat it 66 times.
99.9% may not be guaranteed, but it’s good enough for me. We can even go to 99.99 which requires 88 repetitions. It’s a grind in the end, some get lucky and hit it first try, some need to grind out that 66 attempts.
It’s fine if you are not okey with there being a chance of success involved, but then this game is not for you nor is any other MMORPG.

These are separate words with separate meanings though, so no, it is not factually the same. Grinding a level is not the same as grinding for another chance at rolling a tripod even though the “grinding” portion may be effectively the same. You can’t just say “it’s grinding” and ignore the gambling aspect as if it doesn’t exist. Games with grind don’t all use gambling. Grinding is also not required to get to the gambling portion, you can pay for it 
tripods are something you only ever do once per character, they are not supposed to be collected fast, complaining about tripods is like complaining about not having 11x lvl 10 gems before reaching 1400

If you think repeating action A is grinding and repeating B is gambling, go ahead.
