Reply from 11-04-2022 added, support dont give a crap, dont spend your money on this as support is non-existant and wont help you incase something goes wrong.

Can the people who’s account is on the list and get unbanned either let me know in the topic or send me a dm saying they got their account back so i can update the list accordingly.

So i’ve asked multiple times now, trough email, trough support and directly to the CM’s here and all stay completely quiet whith no respone AT ALL for literal days.

I’ve also dealt with many companies in the years but the sheer amount of lack of respect towards peoples accounts is baffling and unacceptable, thats why i’m making this topic, so hopefully people finally can get stuff sorted and get on with their gaming.

So ill ask a couple simple question;

  • Whats gonna be done to help the people that have a revoked key, are banned due to items bought on the marketplace, or other stuck with a locked account due to similair situations?
  • What timespan are we talking about for people to have their account fixed? And if its the case of a revoked key how can people pay whats due on their account to get it unbanned/unlocked?
  • Why arent people who had their account banned in the 3-day banwave compensated for lost playtime/materials.

Anyone that has additional info or links that might be relevant, please share them in the topic so they can be added.

Some additional info regarding bans as i read about this earlier. There is the possibility that a ban put on a steam account by AGS also prevents people from playing on vac verified servers.

As seen in the topic below this.

I did however do some testing myself, in both Rust and CSGO on the official servers and neither games seem to give me any issues. I did however get some aditional information about this and apparently it does happen on vac enabled community servers with stricter vac rules, the example in the topic below is from “Squad”

I will put this right here, as it needs to be read.

It has come to my attention trough pm’s that people who are banned still cant post here, so they have no way of sharing thier side of the story. Why is that? Because i remember reading statements of CM’s saying people weren’t gonna be locked out and it was suppose to be fixed.

This doesnt adress these people, only people who have been 3-day banned.

Even though i would vouch for them to get an explanation about that aswell, i’d even go as far as that everyone who was punished incorrectly should get a compensation for lost playtime/materials.

That does not answer the question of whether or not it is safe to use the in-game market to buy skins/pets/anything cash related, which were/are a big concern on these forums as users were being banned for unknowingly buying skins that other users had refunded and subsequently receiving a permanent ban for something they did not do.

Something which, as you can see below, customer support themselves confirmed and so far I have not seen any information saying otherwise.

It has been incredibly quiet on this topic and I personally have been avoiding using this game function, as it’s intended, to purchase skins in fear of receiving an unjust punishment and then having to go through support which people have been waiting 10+ days at times for replies.

Please address those of us who have been unjustly permabanned:

I am happy to see that the suspensions have been getting addressed but no one has commented on the widespread bans that were dished out to legit players. I am not even asking for compensation, I just want to be able to log in again please. I see lots of posts from CMs saying to get help from Amazon Customer Service but as you can see from my experience Amazon Customer Service is sending us here for help.

Please address the unjust permabans.

They dont even consider us legit players. We are all cheaters for all they care.
Doesnt matter if an automated system falsely flagged us as speed hackers due to high latency.

I also have been permanently banned due to a refund I didn’t make. a friend of mine who’s in a blocked country sent me a Steam Key for a Apprentice Starter Pack since they couldn’t do it through steam itself. Turns out the seller (from gamivo) is a scammer and refunded all the keys so a lot of people (me included) have been permanently banned because of that.

I would ofc pay off the debt created by this but so far I haven’t gotten a proper response from AGS :frowning:

Yay making a new account because you cant post if your banned!

I got the same problem as Accidently permanently banned my friend except that instead of a friend i bought it myself thinking it was fine with a steam key which now screwed me over.

Sending a ticket for appeal which they haven’t answered yet until i’ve send a new one today asking if there was some way to remove my explorer starter pack or somehow do a repay chargeback.

In which they reacted pretty fast somehow and im pretty sure they’ve only answered the ticket because i’ve added the link to this thread in the appeal. And for some reason they are asking for my dxdiag information, what i’ve no clue why they need that for my appeal.

No information about the appeal or my question about repay chargeback through amazon, steam or some kind of link. Just some copy pasta answer for my ban

My friend and I are having a similar issue (he is commerce banned so cannot post on the forums). I had purchased two Lost Vanquisher Starter packs not realizing you could only redeem one per account. Having difficulty getting a refund, I gave my friend the 2nd code to use on his account. Later a refund was processed for that 2nd pack after redemption. My friend is now commerce banned and has since repurchased the Lost Vanquisher Starter pack to pay what is due to Amazon. He submitted a ban appeal, but it seems like that is stuck in commerce ban appeal purgatory, hoping that it will not take weeks for Amazon support to see that the balance has been paid.



It seems many other have had trouble getting response specifically for commerce bans. I assume they are permanent until balance is paid?

You just posted something that claims it’s been solved. It hasn’t been solved. So essentially you accused a lot of people of lieing.

For example: You could publicly state that anyone who bought from Gamivo should be permabanned.

You could state that if people willfully refunded in certain ways, they should or should not be permabanned.

Unfortunately, even for some who have been unbanned, it seems like they got lucky rather than were given just treatment.

Edit: You could make publicly known whether the 16hrs/day play time was officially used to ban people, and whether any bans will ever be compensated. I expect they would be satisfied with a days worth of materials per ban-day. Relatively small honestly.

That is correct.

Until amazon/their support starts going trough these bans and gives people the option to make things right by eiter paying whats due or in some cases just removing the lock since it wasnt even a justified ban, im afraid all of them are stuck in the same “appeal loop”.

Yep, I was banned with the 3days, lifted 24hours after for “Code of Conduct: Cheating” the 03/08/2022 (first wave of the “test software to ban bot” I guess), still waiting from the Moderation Team to get the reason why I got banned for 1 day.

Yes I’m unbanned right now, but the case is not closed, I got banned 1 day for no reason, I wan’t to understand why, the guys from Amazon Games Support said he will ask Moderation Team to review my case, that’s a lie.

Looks like only a GDPR Request to Amazon Games would be helpful to get the ban reason, the real one I mean.

For anyone going through this process with support expect to be waiting for your responses a very long time.

You should be able to request that data trough amazon themselves, in alot of countries they are obligated by law/GDPR to give this.

The topic with “Unbanned then banned again” (5th link) has some more insight of what amazon is required to give you when you request your own data. It also has examples in it of how it looks.

Also to add - if you request a GDPR, it actually has every single bit of information to prove your innocence.
I just found this digging through it today.


It looks like Amazon accidentally sent me a Silver pack during the reissue of the Founders pack.
I must have accidentally claimed it due to the sheer amount of stuff given to us that week.
My fault but at the same time I should have never received this during the reissue at all.
