Its not about it comming its obvious, but how fast will they screw over whales and no lifers.
40 50 60 is the same thing
People that come on and complain about the nerf and changes coming… they basically no life played the game when they shouldn’t have… that is the reason they try to gatekeep the rest of the playerbase …
The “screwing” mindset is just wrong. Nobody is screwing anybody over. Whales and no lifers made the choice to whale and no life even though they were perfectly aware that boosted rates were coming. Everybody knew they were coming, everybody knew that’s how the game works.
How is that “screwing over”?
Thats big assumption that they " knew" IF they did they would not spent a dim on upgrades.
I mean I no lifed it, got one character at 580 and 300+ hours so …finished rohendel not that long ago. I enjoy the slow exploration, reading text, chat…you know, not mindlessly gobbling up like it’s my last day on earth
People just don’t know how to pace themselves or they just focus on one aspect of the game and suck it dry, unsurprisingly they then whine and moan
If they didn’t bother to do some very quick and basic research and just pumped thousand of bucks into a game they knew nothing about… Then it’s even more their problem.
Being stuck on T1 with the amount of materials that are thrown in your face from both Login rewards and Welcome Challenges is absolutely astounding. (not even mentioning islands)
even if you fail all of your rolls you should still hit T2 due to grace you receive on every fail (not the +%, but the one that guarantees your next enchant).
Have you been failing every single honing from +8 and up? If so, go play the lottery, for real.
Or did you recently start the game and have not gotten all of the resources that you can?
I am genuinely confused as to how that can be possible… I failed a lot of my “end tier” honing and still got to T2 in the first week
The players who no lifed or whaled get their advantage anyway, right? I mean the whole point of doing that so you could be in the top 1% or less of all players was to control the gold market, which they surely have done, as they are mostly sitting on piles of crystal right now, watching as gold inflates in a hyperinflation spiral. This will give them more or less a permanent advantage over the rest of the playerbase, and has nothing to do with what SG does to honing rates in a week or two.
I am 1350 and the base 15% is kicking my ass but I play on. May the rng gods shine a light on you and fill your pockets with leap stones and gold.
In Tier 3, basically everything in the game is unlocked for you.
In Tier 1, most of the game is locked out.
These situations are not comparable. There’s a reason why T1/T2 honing chances were changed to 100% in KR/JP/RU regions AWHILE ago. And this is because the game should be available to the player before hitting them with the brutal RNG gate.
I wont be surprised if with Argos, or maybe after Argos, they actually implement this, or something similar to highly boost people to T3. They need people to be in T3.
Learning that the Argos patch had increased honing rates leaves a sour taste in my mouth because this update is coming basically just 1 month after launch. And if that is the case, then why was it just not released on day 1 as well? You already had so many players quit or are angry because of the dumb honing RNG gatekeep.
I assume we will get the increased rates because nobody is going to be hitting 1370 anytime soon that is not a whale.
Also, I’ve cleared current T3 content and it’s just as easy or as hard as T1 and T2, depending on your skill level I suppose. Guardian Raids in T3 are actually easier because the boss doesn’t have a dumb amount of HP, and they don’t have stupid hitboxes that hit u from a mile away. At least not the first 2.
Compared to Tier 3, Tier 1 is a breeze.
No idea why not just give ppl minimal ilvl for content game has at the moment, like destiny does it. whats the point of t1/t2 later on then… i always was thinking journey matters.
On KR region, they DO have free T3 boosts. So it is funny you mention this ![]()
That’s what makes failing T1 and not progressing on your main…HUNDREDS of times worse than T3 ever could be.
I don’t see how you fail t1…or t2 or t3 for that matter…or how you are not progressing. If the only thing you care about is vertical ilvl progression sure but that’s on you not the game
To be fair T1, objectively, is a breeze. You can very reasonably get 3 alts to tier 2.
Sounds like something a lucky person would say.
Sounds like something that someone in T3 that has already unlocked the super majority of vertical progression content would say.
Sounds like something a lucky person would say.
Sounds like something that someone who lucked to T3 would say after they’ve learned the stronghold ability to make T2 alt progression a thing.
The amount of hindsighted comments from people who don’t even grasp the gravity of their luck progression is astounding and it creates a lot of tone deaf people who will never understand what’s actually happening.
