I think its about time to disable region matchmaking for EU Central, no?
The matchmaking servers clearly cannot handle the load from 19 overpopulated servers and I’m sure each full server doesn’t need region matchmaking at this point in time.
I for one would much rather wait a couple more mins to find a party with a lesser pool of people than spend +30mins spamming queue and praying it goes through and lets me into the instance. Sure many others would too…
Dunno if this is even possible or if all the region things are linked together and would be difficult to unlink matchmaking without messing up things like the AH. But it does sound a good way to release alot of the load of having 19 servers trying to connect at one point when the player base seems big enough to support their own server right now. Then if/when the population comes down, just reconnect the servers to the region again.
Any idea has to be better than the current situation which feels like nothing is being done about it and your out of luck unless you want to play in the early hours of the morning.
So after posing this yesterday, not long later i lost my crystal aura and its still not come back on… thanks AGS!

If possible it might actually be a good idea to split EU central into 2 separate “shared matchmaking” pools.
Bit like how WOW have X amount of servers sharing matchmaking.
Could be temporarely if they find solution to the issue with the whole region.
Can we at least get a new characters block put back onto servers?
New players have had a week to decide which server they want to play on with friends. Only good keeping the servers open now is letting bot farms and gold spammers pour into the servers faster than you can (willing) to deal with them.
