Every time I log in with any character, the new title notification is triggered, but I haven’t actually obtained any new titles.

Because the Crystalline Aura is a separate system you actually obtain it every time you login so you do technically gain a new one but it doesn’t show the red dot (randomly).
Even switching characters while the game is launched this happens.
My programmer guess would be the API call to verify crystalline aura happens every character load.
