It’s okay to be frustrated at Amazon and SG for their lack of transparency involving the NA/EU Roadmap and Scene but taking it out on CM’s is only occurring because we’ve no other venue. The customer service for this game is absolutely atrocious.
People are so fire and brimstone with each other because anonymity allows us to behave as if we’re lacking consequences.
Imagine an entire content of players being told “thanks for your investment, by the way go suck an egg” which is essentially what Amazon has told EU players. EU players are plagued with issues and this game was immensely unprepared for the sheer volume of the global servers and most especially EU.
The entire CM staff + Amazon + SG have come together to thank the EU for their immense support by telling them “tough cookie, we will not replace your lost founders packs or compensate your PAID crystaline aura because our team is unprepared.”
I feel feel as if they were under prepared for the issues that releasing globally would incur; bots, RMT websites, et cetera.
I feel that people in unison are frustrated by the sheer fact that a game they love and shouldn’t need much more than copy and paste while sorting bugs should be good enough.
And even though people spent years up until release defending this game – I remember when the LostArkGame reddit was a freakin post a week or two. I remember when we put out the petition to sign for it to come over, man.
And what do you get? This.
We’re all humans and we all want the game to succeed. Asking for transparency, asking for not a bone but a proper investment plan for our time and efforts and money isn’t too little to ask for.
For Amazon and SG to revisit the compensation packages for EU, which they well deserve, to have people who can provide us proper answers in a timely manner.
And if they can’t, vote with your wallet. Stop paying for shit in the game. Stop playing the game. Go find other things to do.
