I know, it was weird to me that he said it was dead. Which is why the people hear the people that shout the loudest(minority of forum posters).
I’m a huge fan of this game and MMORPG in general, but they spoil such an unusual game.
Such a PR statement. People have made multiple threads regarding a topic due to their original topics being deleted. If you had just left the threads alone to allow for discussion, then those people would not have had a need to re-post their threads.
Not to mention there was someone who made a rather critical post of the studio that was respectful, but then got banned and their post removed. No threats contained.

Those people are also the ones that care the most. If the game keeps on its current trajectory, the future looks bleak.

The feedback has been spreading everywhere about the very main issues with this release. So, I know you are talking about forums as if we don’t matter that much because statitics, but I think by now you guys already should know about the missing catch up mechanics and the lack of skins.
The problem with your last responses is that it contradicts what Gold River wants for us, which is to be at the same level as the korean release as soon as possible.
I just hope that the roadmap covers that, so we don’t feel like the content is being released way too slow.
One idea is to release Valtan and Vykas at the same time, so the catch up mechanics and honings buffs will be very justified and people will feel like there’s content to do and said content is reasonable to reach and clear.
OSRS does this it can easily be done

You really want to know why they got removed because you’re too blind to see? Those posts are demanding, if not threatening posts along with rude, inappropriate and impatient attitudes - along with multiple toxic comments strings below.
I believe they should be able to ban the bad actors and still be able to address their actual concerns. They are just nuking the entire thread, not just deleting the toxic few posts, but censoring the whole topic.

One thing to correct, the honing chances were not removed. Honing chance increase was added at a later time in kr cycle. Jp is just now getting it with Clown raid. RU did not have it at this time either.
The patch notes that said honing chances were honestly never in our version and were probably a miscommunication to begin with.
As for removed content, challenge abyss and challenge guardian are definitely big sides but they are also normalized except engravings. They are very challenging without it and iirc kr is working on fixing the scale of balance issue which may be the only reasons these contents are delayed. If course that doesn’t justify their removal and they should include them.
This isn’t to argue, merely provide insight on a couple things. Carry on.
Not having actual data on player desires gives them an easy out to be able to say “we’re looking into the best course of action”.
If they did an in game poll like OSRS with the intent being to implement what the playerbase wanted they wouldn’t be able to indefinitely say “we’re looking into it” until they make up their minds on what’s most profitable.

that’s not how data or sample sizes work or you could do the same with a poll of 10 votes. also exacerbate means to make something worse, so it doesn’t work in your sentence.
If a community manager cannot manage community in a positive way and cherry pick the really bad posts that really ought to be deleted, while trying to steer the conversation into more constructive and value-driven debate, while providing insights not available to the players… oh well why even have a community manager?
I mean, even a bot can be set to delete threads that have “negative” keywords and post messages like “Soon” “We are deliberating our options” “We are working on it”, etc… Actually the only CM that seems to actually do their work is the German one (Maselbart) who actually engages with the community and tries to actually manage the debates in a positive way. Not sure about the Spanish CM as I don’t speak Spanish…

There is plenty of games that do this so if the answer is that the forums doesn’t represent all players online polls may do it. still we will never get an answer .
as I say here the biggest issue is other. we can cry about % rates. materials updates etc.
The main issue here is the lack of transparency.
