Way ahead of you. Got that done like 2 months ago. When KR got the new tripod QoL I already started buying out my level 4s. And BC were in the cheapo ranges. Easy 900g per 95BC. Gold weekly wasn’t an issue imo and I manage to get it done ASAP. Of course everyone now is well aware, but prices are a little… “different” lol. Some cheap… some expensive. Welp it is what it is.
It doesn’t matter when the exact patch notes appear or if they do at all, in regards to tripod changes.
Everybody is (was) aware for months now about the changes, if you don’t prepare, it’s on you.
Is it 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th week of November?
Current events are ending on the 16th so it makes sense to be that week. It’s also week before Thanksgiving.
Since KR got the change we knew we will get it sooner or later. (That means you had tons of time to prepare it and still have few Weeks)
With the latest roadmap we got the confirmation that its coming.
Try to buy as much Lvl 4 Tripods and safe them in your Tripod Inventory, if you run out of space you can buy few more slots with Crystals. (ideally you buy tripods with more trades so you can sell them again after saving)
IMPORTANT: safe your current used Tripods also (normally you have safed them anyway) because all the safed Tripods will be “learned” when the Update hits our Servers, so care that youre not losing your active ones.

Koreans got the information on how the new tripod system will work over a month in advance. We should not have to follow every Korean update to know what to prepare for
I bought all the tripod inventory tabs and have been buying any T4 support / dps gear for my paladin i could find. i have full support / dps T4 saved to my library and am looking forward to sharing them with my alt paladins.
The only piece of information i’m missing is will the T4 tripods have ilevel restrictions or can my 1340 suddenly have access to all t4 once the QoL goes live?

The saved tripods are not roster wide, at least not from the information we have about them, just the character who has them saved in their inventory unlocks them.
Update patch notes so far get released less than 24h before the maintenance for the update. People not following Korea’s patch progression and people who might at the current moment not see a need for saving tripods in the inventory (if they didn’t update them for a while since they didn’t get a gear upgrade to warrant it) - might lose all of their tripods they have at the moment.
ATK added recently good video in YT about how the new tripods work .
But we need information here about it as well , minimum a week before it , so everyone knows what to do with it , as not everyone watch those videos. And the time frame between the patch release notes and the maintenance it self is not that much , to give people time to sort their inventory .
Sorry to inform you but saved tripods in inventory are character only so if you were hoping to save them on one character and have them for all of your other same class characters i wont work
This is a big mistake. The player base needs a warning weeks in advance, to prepare their character’s tripod inventories.
With just the patch notes informing players, you will see a lot of threads after the patch complaining about how they lost their max level tripods because they didn’t save them, and just presumed they would copy over because they are on the armour.
You need to write an article going into detail about how the system works and what players need to do to prepare for the changes. That article needs to be mentioned/linked to in-game too.

it sucks at we get patch notes at tuesday evening I whole heartly agree but we have been informed about tripod update since like what months?? at this point if you don’t have your original ones saved theres nothing to say
It would be beneficial to Amazon as well to release said info in a pre-patch notes for unaware players. I already finished my current 6 chars with 4 pages each so they got my money already, but not everyone keeps track of what’s going on outside of global.
I mean we the people that follow KR closely and the game closely do know about it. But what about little Timmy? He doesn’t use the forums, he just sees twitter occasionally or maybe checks in once in awhile for announcements. Shouldn’t he be given the same information as those of us that knew about it 5 months ago when it released in KR? The patch notes themselves don’t need to be released however Amazon should release information and a statement of exactly how this will work.
The whole powerpass “bug” has been an issue that’s getting swept under the rug but this is an entire core system within the game changing. This goes way beyond a simple update, people deserve to have this information available all equally and not be required to go to inven, find the update, and translate the page
We had a roadmap that informed us about tripod update. If little timmy doesn’t read roadmap why do you expect him to read patch notes, I wonder. If he read the road map and was a little curious about it he could’ve easily youtubed it. Don’t get me wrong getting patch notes at tuesday evening seriously annoys the heck out of me but in this case Idk man.
This is all the information the roadmap provides and actually reading it is incredibly misleading. This is written as if the new amulet system is 100% roll rate so if you get the drop you get the tripod 100% is which just flat wrong and in itself is misinformation. Unless the West is getting a different version then the East did its almost concerning. The way this is written will actually screw players over more then help them.
I’m definitely not asking for full patch notes but with such a core system change AGS could at least explain the system to players and how it will work. They deserve that much at least.
I think they are reffering to the amulet that u can select a tripod of ur choise.
Arcanas and Destroyers got one with that patch on KR since their skills got replaced xD

Just an FYI Roxx, KR got two weeks of an in game message. There will be players who have no idea what this change means or how it will affect them. You should try to announce this patch earlier than you normally would (adding the caveat about possible unforeseen delays etc…) so that folks will have time to prepare and understand how the tripods are changing.
