It seems like its Lost Ark that doesn’t “trust” my acc, not Steam. Please release my account’s Lock, I’m clearly not a bot, OR please be more clear on what i have to do…
-does it require me to actually buy something on Steam that cost EXACTLY $5 with my existing $5 Steam fund?
-OR does it require me to instead make a purchase in-game through Lost Ark Shop with my existing $5 Steam fund? in which case $5 will not be enough since the cheapest item in Lost Ark shop is the monthly Aura for $9.99…

Spent money on the account 32 days ago when this ridiculous failure of an anti bot strategy was implemented. Looks like the only people getting restricted is real people not bots clearly.

I have done purchase to buy Premium Lost Ark Pass, 2200 Royal Cristals were bought. I wanted to exchange least crystals that I had for gold, but my account is not “Trusted”! Why I am making purchases if I can’t use them properly in the game?

One month has passed since i made 2 purchases on steam just to get rid of the “Trusted account” issue. I am still untrusted. Steam says im trusted. What am I supposed to do???

My account has been fixed.

I had to contact Amazon support live chat for Lost Ark. I told them that Steam said it’s an issue on their end and they asked me to provide a screenshot of Steam saying that. I just used someone elses at the time because steam didn’t get back to me yet.

They will want you to upload it to postimg.cc

Amazon escalated it via a ticket and 48 hours later it was fixed.

My account has been fixed too.

To others:
Try to contact Amazon Support for Lost Ark issue, they are really helpful. If your account must be Trusted already, then try to do this steps from Steam support:

  1. Restart your computer and launch Steam
  2. Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game’s Library page on the far right
  3. From the drop down menu, select “Properties…”
  4. Select the “Local Files” tab and click the “Verify integrity of game files…” button
  5. Process will take several minutes to finish.

This thing helped me, but also maybe Support did something.

My issue from above is solved.

Right, so @FilletOFish I know I have been posting the same link over and over, it’s mostly for new folks joining the thread, so they can catch up. Yeah I get it seems like there is no useful suggestion and that we have failed to solve this.
I’m truly sorry to see how this affects the community and how many of you are frustrated over something that should be fun. I wish I could share the investigation or fix all this for that matter but its over my head. Wish I could provide more info or useful steps, by don’t have it.

@OolongTeaa alright, that’s a very specific “blaming” bot, but ok LOL. thank you for the info. Unfortunately I can’t guarantee that. I mean, can’t recommend it either or it’ll look like Im inviting you to spend (not my purpose, Im here to help), so it’s up to you. My opinion: dont do it, if it doesnt work you’re going to be twice as frustrated, wait for the fix. and good day to you sir.

Not really, @Miyakee kind of complex, several factors, Steam claims it’s us, most of your accounts say trusted in reference to Steam’s “trusted status”, so it doesnt seem to be a problem with the cross system but you know, working on a fix.

Right, @JulianHoang7714 thanks for the info. Yeah we are aware this is affecting a lot of you guys, its not that your account is locked, we dont have the info to fix this. We would definitely just unlock it. We don’t have that specific step you would complete to fix this, our recommendation is don’t spend on the hopes it will get fixed, otherwise you might get frustrated if it doesn’t work.

The above steps that @Nikroon posted didn’t do anything for me as the Amazon support also tried to have me do that.

@DevonK My issue was resolved after contacting Amazon support and having them escalate the issue via a Ticket.
