Tried to tell someone what I believe the spawn rate for the Blackfang daily event is and used this exact sentence “from what i’ve seen its every 15 minutes, so 0, 15, 30, 45”, gave me a “message is inappropriate” error back. You tell me where the issue is, cuz i have no clue.

Some might say this should be in bug report or game feedback, but this needs to be seen and seems deliberate. I can’t see any combination that produces anything inappropriate, with or without leet speech.

Are we really censoring normal conversations too now?

i tried to link the Ghost ship location to someone and censor that too lmao

Strange…I just tried to type this in game in pieces to pinpoint where exactly it’s flagging but it was fine.

As much as I hate to see a bunch of kids spamming explicit things to be edgy I’d much prefer seeing that than having such a restricting chat filter.

It seems like the best way for them to go about this is to allow everything (except racism/hate speech) and lighten the chat filter by:

  • Default filter “on” with the ability to turn it off.
  • Word blacklisting feature so you can choose what you want or don’t want to see.

Seems simple enough, no?

its because of the gold sellers/spammers and once again the players are paying the price.

In New World, they(AGS) removed rewards from fishing because thats how gold sellers were making some of their money.
innocent players paid for that, because Amazon found it easier to remove the rewards from fishing instead of dealing with the bots.

in Lost Ark we cant use the chat properly because of the spam by gold sellers.
its easier to restrict everyone instead of dealing with the bots
