Two client design choices become exponentially more frustrating when done together. Pick one or fewer

Major gripe with a combination of client design choices:

  1. Take several minutes to load files when initially opening the game
  2. When there are connection issues, close the client

Those are both, in my opinion, suboptimal design decisions. There is at least a case to be made for #1… but when you make the client take several minutes to load, and then force close it when server connection issues happen (which is very frequent right now), it will drive your players away.

Pick one or fewer. #1 can be acceptable if #2 doesn’t happen.
