I’m on day 2, still need weapon and helm. There is no alternative, you are just boned from progression for another day, better luck tomorrow. What makes this suck even more is that this gates us from buying the event shop materials if we don’t get lucky by weekly reset.
Why not just throw the set on the chaos vendor for like 1000 Purification Shards each piece, so those of us who are suck on an RNG piece of garbage rare to drop can at least farm it out so that we can continue on with the game.
Or allow the gear to continue dropping at a reduced rate while your farming Purification Shards.
I hated this as well. I had to plan out when I should finish and start so I’d have an extra chance at gear after sleep if I didn’t get all I needed in my run. Thankfully I got it all on my very first chaos run. I did Have to wait a day to do the chaos dungeon again tho that wasn’t fan but whatever.
Should be at the vendor if you’re missing one. Having base t3 gear is not a milestone it’s just entrance to basic new content.
Simple as that. Someone getting their t3 gear day one doesn’t effect anyone negatively it’s all positive for everyone.
My guildies all used the event shop as our incentive to push out of T2. So, now we’re all 1100 and praying on RNG over the next 2 days to give us 1 trash drop so we can continue forward. If we don’t get it, we lose out on a week of materials from the Event vendor and set ourselves back a noticable amount.
Even if it was just a quest, you run Punika 1 twice and you get a chest with the bare bones set in it. They are unsellable/untradable why make it rng gated.
They fucked up new world due to the lack of experience and talent. Now they want to intentionally make lost ark seem just as bad by adding pointless gates that make zero sense. Truly a sight to behold.
and if that on Smilegate’s behalf, i don’t know what their plan is. Take the initial pay and kill the game? lol
cmon man, you know that this is not true and forum posts like this won’t help any1 neither the devs or the players.
I am still with everybody here, since I am stuck with the the T3 Gear aswell for solid 6 days now.
But if the forum wasn’t filled with so many people not giving constructive criticism, I think the devs would have a better time working on issues.
Took me two days of Chaos dungeons to get my tier 2 gear. Not really a big deal to me as I’ve been progressing slowly and selling days worth of tradable mats a few days a week in order to build a nice gold buffer for when I hit t3(1000 now). It gives me incentive to finish islands and do other forms of roster progression so my power level is a little boosted when I enter content. I’ve been mostly doing this on weekdays and by the weekend I seem to hit a breakpoint where I have new story content to do.
There’s just so much to do that makes your character better that doesn’t involve gear honing. To be honest, it gets frustrating sometimes to group with the people who speed hone through the game. I didn’t even know it was possible to fail a chaos dungeon until I was in there with people just dying over and over. Mechanics are always king, but if you’re going to be lazy(I get the tedium), having all those boosts from doing the other content is a great buffer.
This is one change that made 0 sense whatsoever. You are at a point where T2 becomes obsolete but RNG hardblocks you at the entrance without swrving any purpose. It is hard to fathom why blue t3 entry gears became untradable on our version.
This is much different from other RNG complaints and problems because there is no ceiling whatsoever and it serves absolutely no purpose other than to frustrate players.
If someone is willing to whip ou 9 pheons for a missing piece of blue grar they should be able to do so.
You have to understand that this was a change when coming over to the west. Someone decided that this should have RNG, and that some people should be stuck for a few days trying to drop their gear. Its not an oversight, its not something “they wouldn’t know better”. Its intentional, and it doesn’t matter how many times they say “uhhh we are listening and keeping on eye on metrics” lol
The outrage doesn’t come from the issue itself, but rather the fact that it isn’t like this on other regions and they have a precedent of making people’s lifes harder (pointless grind) from another game.
Whoever is in charge over at AGS needs to quit and leave the decisions to someone competent. How someone though this was a good idea is mind blowing. I wonder if SG even is aware of what is going on with our version of the game…
Missing the weapon and i have to wait another day and for what ? Just pure rng and gatekeeping us, only way is to whale hard so you can get 1302 gear score without a gear which is absurd.I can endure the other gatekeeps but this is literally making me unistall the game. If i lose my weekly shop reset in 2 days and don’t get the missing piece tommorow so be it but the game lose another customer cuz of stupid designs.
Update: 3rd day and still missing shoulders. I’ve been reading all the comments and i see that a lot of people still are missing only 1 part of the set, i found this stupid to be honest.
When finally somenone gets 1100 ilvl hoping to loot all the T3 gear set in two chaos and play with friends, try new content, new raids, new guardians and be more calm cause u got to T3, suddenly doesnt get one part or even any and must wait to the next day HOPING to get the missing parts.
Is so easy to put an exchanger (like the chaos one) of gear where u can only trade each part of the gear one time per character.
Been stuck multiple days waiting on a T3 gloves. Was looking all over the place to find another way to get the entry gear and it’s only random drop from chaos dungeons. This is so stupidly frustrating. Why would they think it’s a good idea to intentionally screw part of the playerbase from entering into T3.
I failed so many times on my last T2 hone to reach T3, only succeeded thanks to the 100% Artisans Energy. Here we go, on to T3!..1st chaos dungeon no gloves, no helm. all good do another one…still no gloves…ok off to the market to buy the missing piece…wait why are there no blue T3 items on the market. Is someone buying it all up, let me check my items. Shit its untradable. why would they change that for just T3, this makes no sense. Ok, let me see if there’s any other way to get this. Seriously, no other way!? only random chance on the chaos dungeon, this is so stupid. 3 days later still can’t enter T3.
It’s like they want me to quit their game and go spend my money somewhere else.
How has this not been addressed yet and fixed. If I don’t get this one piece of gear I’m going to miss out on all the T3 rewards from the event vendors too. I have piles of these event tokens saved up for when I finally hit T3 and this one glove is seriously going to prevent me??? HELLO! FIX YOUR GAME!
I saved up chaos run bonuses even on my bard…I’m 0/4 on each character getting into T3 on first day of chaos runs.
Just from a random shouting in punika someone said they managed to get it on their first day of chaos runs when they got a red portal but otherwise it is always no good.
I just wish they didn’t make dailies consider you still tier 2 with missing one piece of gear. Something like you get a bump to be T3 beginner rewards when you complete punika would be nice.
