If they are character bound and not roster bound, then the prices shouldn’t increase with each purchase I feel.
we lose another gold source gj.
While I agree with you that it’s a really good first step forward in the right direction, bots can still do infinite chaos dungeons and sell the items they pick up from the actual mobs while doing it.
While they no longer have access to sell mats from the vendor, I think the guardian/destruction/leapstones you get from doing infinite chaos dungeon is still sellable.
Players will do the botting themselves to get the mats they need. Gold they can swipe for, but if they can bot the mats that saves a lot of gold right there. This helps, but it is not going to kill botting
They aren’t. But players can run botting programs themselves and farm the mats that way. They can just pay legit for gold needed to hone
I can agree with what you just mentioned, but ultimately this is a significant blow to how bots make their income and prevent even more mats farmed by bots from entering the market.
Supposedly now with this change…
bots can only sell the stones they pick up
vs
before where bots can sell the mats they pick up(a small portion of how their gold is made) + exchange via vendor for even more mats to sell for gold (significant portion of where the gold is made from my own assumptions)
So instead of fixing the bot issue, they just fucked over every player in the game?
I like this change very much, will definitely help with bots flooding the market from doing infinite Chaos Dungeons, and in return make it harder to farm sellable gold.
that does not strain! it doesn’t shit anyone, it just annoys the bots so I already assume that you are one of those who uses these illegal systems
I asked Jeff specifically for this change. Also I asked that Artist be last and he said he was down.
Your welcome
all items from infinite chaos dungeon are bound… always been like that
Bots exist in every game F2P or P2P, its a long and painful battle, but this is the first of many steps in the right direction without punishing players.
Player botting is the 2nd step and its really easy to track to be honest.
Well, not necessarily. For example I always run three chaos dungeons daily on my main and keep around 2k shards in case I get REALLY short on gold. I’d just buy some honing items and sell them on the market for a quick buck if needed. I’ll just have to pay closer attention to my gold and limit my rage honing sprees a little bit, but since it should kinda fix the gold situation it’ll probably be a net posivite anyway.
As a purely f2p player, this is a huge blow and basically removing 3-4 days of gameplay since that is how long it takes to farm out the vendor to 1k shards/item (not including guarding or destruction) to get some gold for honeing.
For contrast its about 3k gold
Since you are new to the Internet and MMORPGs, let me explain how the world works.
The only thing limiting some gold resources will do — is increasing the prices of gold.
“Treat the Cause, Not the Symptoms”
Have a nice day.
Cry bots, cry! Bye bye!
So many years waiting for a good game only to get to play it for 2-3 month(since release) but they always managed to fuck over the small guy and the “smart people” just keep bending over and taking it. Well im out, lost ark will be uninstalled. No point in playing when i cant get gold for using my bound materials for honeing.
bye bye! good luck ![]()
Its nice seeing cucked people identify with themselves and replies, good job. xD
