yes, just tried it twice in a row and had the bug. no tornados after 1st set.

just tried too, and same. No tornados after the first pop of them. So every blast after the first kill us …

Same happened to me a moment ago, no tornados and instant phase 2, I was so confused. Also, I’m quite sure they changed the wipe mechanic not to wipe and just do high dmg but it still melts everyone, even with high shields. Or maybe I misunderstood something.
even if this works it does not change that fact that the encounter is broken
and no climbing ladders up and down is not “playing the mechanic properly”

how should it be faster? you still have to wait till the boss triggers his wipe. does not matter if you wait standing in his whirlwind or climb ladders up and down
also i think you are still not able to get the point. no one cares if you think it is faster and cheesing the boss is the way to go. the encounter is broken and needs to be fixed. it really isnt more complicated than that

climbing the ladder up and down is not faster than actually playing the mechanic. it is just a way people can use as “workout” - aka “workaround” - till the boss is fixed. once the boss is fixed this whole ladder climbing is just nonsense

Yes, Tytalos is bugged. Before the patch I had spent 4 hours in groups trying to get it done, so I know the moves and mechanics that the fight has pretty well now, but so many people dont know the fight and that lead to this patch nerfing Tytalos. The patch bugged Tytalos and its harder to do this now.

it’s not abut the misspelling, it’s about the fact that you did not make clear what you meant.
if your point is that your climbing the ladder strategy is a possible workaround for now, till the boss is fixed, than you are right… but this strategy is not faster than playing the mechanic the way it is meant to be played once the boss works properly
Yeah, the tornados disappear after they spawn the first time. Impossible to beat the boss now unless you have high gear score teammates that can tank the old 1 shot move and do enough dps.
I thought they changed the 2nd one into a stagger check no longer needing tornados? I mean certainly if you are seeing P2 mechs in P1 that’s broken, but others saying they had an issue first time that’s not a bug lol
where was this change mentioned? Because I definitely didn’t see it. It doesn’t make sense because the time he takes to charge the wipe doesn’t give the players any leeway to stagger it.
Here to confirm Tytalos is bugged
- Immediately went into phase 2 after wave attack.
- No Whirlwinds for second “Wave” attack.
- Wave attack triggered BEFORE the shockwave attack. Usually its 3 attacks AFTER the shockwave when he does the AOE.

Think only Shadowhunters can “easily” kill him, others need a bit luck and zip lines to get past this road block to T2.
