I believe the current resizing and opacity features can be improved by altering systems already in the game.
Currently we have the option to resize the UI with the following settings -
I suggest the following improvement on this system:
- Able to modify individual UI Element Size.
Why? More customization options for the players will improve the quality of the play session.
As an example, I currently wish I could have a small tab map but a big combat UI; with the current system in place that is not possible.
Next we have Opacity: If a player hits Alt + X various elements of the UI completely vanish.
This tells me that the UI elements can be hidden; however, there is no customization for what to hide.
I suggest the following:
- Individual UI opacity settings to hide select UI elements while being able to maintain visibility of other UI elements.
Why? More customization options will improve the quality of each play session.
As it is now if one presses Alt + X one time it will remove both the mini map & the current quest objectives under it. There’s no option to remove the mini map but retain the quest objectives.
How would you utilize these settings? I Just want a cleaner screen with obnoxiously big combat elements.
