day 2 (4 runs. Punika CD Star 1) and still no weapon. im working on my alts but its really depressing that i cant make any progress on my main. 
Update day 3, still no weap but collected lots of mokokos so i guess its ok

They should be able to be gotten from the Sword Icon NPC using Abyssal Dungeon Token of the appropriate tier.

I was hoping this didnt happen to me. But it did. Im on day one now, no Helm, stuck at 1270ilvl
6 runs and still missing 1 piece, honestly this mech is dumb, but probably the game is built in a way they canāt fix it. (ahahahah no, just dumb pointless mech)
Yeah same problem, 4 chaos dungeons, no shoulders. Just hard stuck at 1270 item level. Awesome game design!
If it is supposed to be guaranteed then I am also missing shoulders for T2 in my case after 2 runs with resonance.
+1 This is terrible game design. Basically itās just play chaos, log off, try again tomorrow. Guess Iāll just log off.
Same issue here, really wish this wasnt a thing. Making T3 untradable was already a questionable move, but when so much is gated behind 1302(dailies scaling, dungeons/raids, purchasing any mats, etc) we should either be able to buy the gear with shards or be given a set at the end of the quest line. There is definitely still plenty to do in the meanwhile, but being stuck in an arbitrary limbo with gear/activities feels pretty bad
Nothing is going to get changed but I feel compelled to post here just to add to the numbers of people saying this is garbage design and trapping your players between t2 and t3 is probably the worst design decision Iāve ever seen in an mmo. Iām actively not playing the game because I donāt want to waste my time earning t2 mats that are completely useless to me because my t3 set wonāt drop.

Well i dont want the tripods or something. I am even fine with basic blues w/o tripods. Just give me the ilvl to be able to PLAY the game with my main FFS.
Is it like this at russian and korean servers also btw?
Same situation here, T2 is done but i canāt play in T3 content without the 1302 stuff, lets hope for the next chaos run
Got my shoulders on run 4, maybe its luck. People tend to skip the last bit of mobs by entering portal immediately, maybe could be worth clearing those as well as they do drop sometimes.
I was excited of getting 1100 Ilvl, did my 2 chaos runs after the reset andā¦
Im short of 2 parts of the set. Now Efectively wasted 24hs. Like its not even funny how you cannot do Guardians/Dailies/Ghost Ship/FieldBossesā¦ because of this RNG.
I dont care failing 4 times in a row a honing upgrade but thisā¦ im in a limbo with 1200 gs that can only do t2 content.
Literally sucked out my motivation to play today.

I had the same problem todayā¦ I was so excited for T3 and then Iām missing one part of the set. GG. Now i can log out and hope it will drop tomorrow. Thank god there is Elden Ring.
