The guide-quests for all tradeskills you get at level 25 require you to equip novice tools. However, if you already have tools from f.ex. the founder’s packs, the quest won’t progress if you equip those. It seems a waste to have to buy worse tools to get these quests completed? They should accept the tools you equip no matter what it is.
