Unable to trade turn into scam

Well,
I am still unable to trade for over 3 months now.
-I put money on the steam account (I can use the steammarket/trade)
-using mobile authenticator for more than 3 days(where they claim after 4hrs it should work-my friend doesnt even have an authenticator and can trade)
-using email authenticator for more than 5 months
So after 10 mails to support steam/amazon(because they just send you to the other-as both sides claim they dont know sht), someone from amazon had a brilliant idea to let me buy an in-game item from lost ark telling me after 2 days you will be able to trade, if not you come back and we will fix the issue. After 2 days, they write me go to steam support ask whats up :smiley:
So I asked for a refund, amazon said its their fault but they dont give a refund. So pretty much they scam you into buying stuff that ends up not changing anything. Thats pretty much scam/fraud.
Support [22:09:54] : Yes i can see the conversation, and i understand that they asked you to buy lost ark item however they told you to do minimum purchase of $5 but they didn’t explained that the $5 can be spend anywhere on steam and not only on lost ark. i am sorry for the partial information you got there:

When you ask for a supervisor, that doesnt excist in amazonsupport apparently.
When you ask for lost ark devs to do anything about it, you dont hear anything from them.

Yep. Been going on since they introduced this system sadly. Instead of trying to communicate with steam and figure out where the fault in the system is they just ping pong customers. I’m really glad that I did not have to deal with this. But I feel for those of you who do. AGS Support is beyond terrible.

Your best bet would be to open an appeal through steam and ask them to elevate this issue since AGS is refusing to assist you. The official policy for Lost Ark is no refunds under any circumstances. But in extreme circumstances like this one they really need to be willing to make exceptions because this is borderline fraud - telling a customer that purchasing something will grant them X and then failing to provide X after said purchase has been made. This just comes down to simple incompetence on the part of their support staff.

Whatever you do just do not charge back the purchase through your bank without consulting with Steam or they will probably lock your entire steam account.

That was back in April. They never even attempted to fix the issue.
