Unbanned then banned again - Update: I found the problem. AG Sent me a pack I never owned during the Founders reissue!

I think I may have found the exact reason I was flagged as having refunded. See below


It seems Amazon may have accidentally given me a Silver Founders pack during the reissue and I must have accidentally claimed it in error due to the amount of free stuff we got that week by pressing “Claim All” in-game!

The highlighted rows 100% confirms it, as well as the fact that I never had the Silvers Founders Pack on release. (See line 26 as the first item I ever claimed on launch). Lines 14-16 indicate what I received on that date which were the reissued Founders Packs.

Lastly here is my ban response received from AG Support

I was banned for the Commerce Lock issue on 3/03 then unbanned on 3/10 then banned again on 3/16. (After the hotfix, when everyone else was receiving the 3-day suspension problem)

This was my initial banned thread:

I requested a GDPR from Amazon during the initial week of the ban that shows the exact ban reasoning.
For reference, you can see quite a lot of information here - and no, 100% no RMT, seen in my Mail History CSV.

This is what I saw the morning of 3/10

Between 3/10 and 3/16 I was overjoyed to be playing again and even bought Crystals on Steam to catch up with my friends. They sent me thousands of mats they’ve been hoarding for the week in case I ever got unbanned.

On 3/16 I was banned again and similar to the first time my appeals were not reviewed properly.
I did however, go to Live Chat and was told the following.


For some odd reason AmazonGames seems to be insinuating that I was never unbanned at all despite proof of purchase on Steam here.


On top of the additional 53 hours played from the last time I was banned till today.

I truly hope the proper people can figure this out or at least refund the purchases made between the 10th and 16th and return all the mats my friends worked so hard for to give me.

I know the devs are capable of returning mail claimed or unclaimed because this is a snippet what MailHistory.CSV shows you.

I hope this helps anyone who has been banned wrongfully moving forward - I honestly don’t care to play anymore but I’m hoping that AG can at least return the items and refund the payments I made.

*All these CSV snippets were taken from the initial ban - I’ve now requested for a new one but sadly it takes quite some time to arrive.

oh well… hope it gets sorted out for u again soon. had a problem where a friend of mine sent me a steam key because they’re from a blocked country and therefore couldn’t send me a gift via steam itself → seller refunded it/scammed my friend and I got permanently banned:

now i’m waiting for a response from support and hopefully I as well as every other person with the same problem will get unbanned (also can’t wait to sell every skin i bought off the AH as soon as I get unbanned so i don’t get insta banned again for something i didn’t do) :confused:

I too have been permanently banned for commerce lock and have had an abysmal response from ACS.

The fact that you were unbanned, making you think you were okay, causing you to spend more money again (200$)… JUST to ban you again permanently, is top levels of scamming. It HAS to be illegal. @Roxx Please, I know you’re a busy person and that this is just a tiny, little thing on your list of concerns, and that he’s just one out of a million people, but this HAS to be wrong. This is just sickening and horrible on so many levels… How can Amazon do this?

I played other regions and issues like this are unheard of. I really hope you get your money back.

It’s unfortunate that Steam does not allow refunds when purchasing in game funds. I hope you get a refund on the 200$ you spent on the game during the period you were unbanned. It looks like Amazon was indecisive in their decision and that misled you in to believing you were safe to purchase in game currency again only to ban you a few days later.

The release was on the 11th, so its impossible to claim anything ingame on the 5th.
Pretty sure its refunded because he wanted the platinum version instead. Which it also shows in the screenshot.

It just says refunded, not which version is refunded.
So he bought gold, refunded silver, bought platinum a couple days later.

Though the “Added to your steam library as part of: Lost Ark Silver Founder’s Pack” on the 3rd is the exact same date as when the first ban occured.

I can imagine this being a trigger in the systems of amazon, since that version doesnt exist on his account anymore.

The weird thing i don’t get is that his steam support page on Lost Ark says added on March 3rd as part of Silver Founder’s Pack even though he refunded the silver pack on Feb 5th and then bans him on the 3rd. Then again it says added on March 16th as a silver founder’s pack and bans him again wtf. Why would steam library adds a game you bought on Feb 5th and refunded, as if you bought it on March 3rd and 16th? Mine says Feb 12th excatly the day i start downloading the game.

@Roxx Bumping for visibility - please look into this or at least give me back the ~$200 dollars spent between the 2 bans.

Honestly, I’d either chargeback on Steam if they’ll allow you to dispute, or just chargeback through your bank and take the L from Steam. These greedy, greasy piggies like @Roxx certainly no longer care about the game. It’s made them their money, and as we saw with New World they stop caring after the first month or two…
