Currently, the abyssal dungeons are on a lockout of 1 clear a week per character. I am not sure why this system is in place if we are already nerfing dungeons a couple of weeks into the release because people can’t get mechanics right.
Wouldn’t it be better to simply remove the rewards from the dungeons and allow players to run the dungeons again? This would allow people to get used to mechanics better, allow you to play with friends outside of your main clear party, teaching people how to deal with mechanics without it interfering with your clears. It would allow people to go in with 3 other people, explain the mechanics, keep an eye out on what they do wrong, and teach them how to do it properly.
Personally, I don’t really care if I don’t get rewards after the first clear, I just want to be able to re-do the dungeon with friends so I can help them or explain certain mechanics to them so they can learn and improve with their own party.
While I agree it could be a problem, nothing prevents me from doing that now once I outgrow the content.
Sure, I can only do it 1x per character. But with the way alts can be boosted in ilvl, if I really wanted to use this system to sell, nothing would prevent me from doing exactly that. It simply means that the price for the boost would be higher then if I would be able to do it over and over and over.
That is not even taking into account that most dungeons have mechanics that if screwed up, wipe the entire party, so even boosting people means that the person boosted is not totally brain dead.
