As of writing there is no queue on any of the west servers, it would be nice for you guys to unlock them for character creation during off peak hours so those waiting to join their friends can do so.

Yeah, trying to join a friend on the unofficial OCE server and every single server on West is now closed despite it not having a que time currently.
100% Agreed, the server locks are in play to limit queues… Yet when there’s no queue, the server remains locked?
I’m trying to join the unofficial OCE server on NA West like James and getting nowhere with how the server lock has been managed at this time.
I sincerely hope we’re not looking at another New World.
We would understand if we have thousands of queue like the east servers but west servers has no queue.
This… Either give OCE servers or don’t limit us off-peak to create characters and have our friends join the server where our whole region is on.
Nobody in OCE wants to play a mmo without other OCE players and it’s likely Americans don’t want to play with OCE players they can’t handle the banter I mean look at valtan area chat lol

I am curious on whether the lock indicated in this post Character Creation Limits and Additional Servers indicates a hard-lock, where the servers won’t unlock until the devs manually do so, or automatically as the other server locks seem to be… Because that would be incredibly annoying, considering I’m seeking to play on Valtan, being the primary “Unofficial OCE” server…
Indeed it is, area chat always wild with OCE trolling the Americans how they picked the wrong server since it’s OCE server and Americans keep arguing its American server when severely outnumbered lol, pretty funny ngl especially those who haven’t played with Australians before trying to win an argument with everyone taking the piss out of them.
