i tried every basic thing there is, firewall, reinstalling, fresh windows install, etc…even knowing this is not a me problem. theres a least 3 posts like this with people having the same problem in other regions. its just on lost ark. other games i have normal ping…i just want at least something that they acknoledge this and will look into…game is literally unplayable like this, i cant even do a simple chaos without my ping going to like 500

i already contacted through a ticket and ive gotten the same answer. told me to troubleshoot stuff when i clearly said ive already done it and it was not just me and just on lost ark

Like @vculture said, it is a widespread issue, not on the user side.
I experience exactly the same issue, for the last 4 days or so.
I did a dynamic tracert to see all nodes between me and the gameserver, and here is the issue :
2 nodes on AWS side are dropping packets.
52.93.42.136 has 4.3% of packet loss
52.93.42.189 has 1.6% of packet loss
And when they are dropping, I get the 1-2 sec lag in-game, each time.
Please fix your stuff
“good” thing that you are showing this, yet, we have 0 response from anybody regarding this and it has been 3 days. losing faith and almost uninstalling my game because of this, if you find anything useful please let me, us, know
Glad to see its not on my end, but sad that this will probably not get fixed by them at all.
I KNEW something was off. Im getting the same lag spikes randomly, also during PVP. Game completely freezes during a couple seconds.
Seriously guys, how come playing in Korea with VPN brought 0 issues compared to this?? Not to talk the insane FPS loss due to the bugged chat with drop and exp logs…

I think its high traffic/something related to traffic. If you play on your server “off hours” the game runs fine, but at peak times it lags like hell.
Chiming in here because I’ve been experiencing high ping of even 2k and up sometimes. It drove me nuts and led me because I’ve no clue what to do anymore.
I love the game but I’m considering quitting since the game has become near unplayable. I’m unable to perform mechanics in raid parties due the ping which is one of the scarce few sources of gold.
Please look into this because I feel like I’m out of options. I never encountered an issue as severe as this within the game.
