Hi I have finished the first chain of the 2nd awakening quests (I finished lost footsteps) and Until the darkness is nowhere to be found. I have not started it and it is not in my completed journal either. I am standing in front of the npc (Malte) who is supposed to give this quest and there are no quests for me to do in shushire.
Any help would be appreciated.

I’m also having this issue. I’m 1400 and I don’t have my second awakening.
I’ve also tried to go back to other NPCs in the quest line and i cant talk to any of them. See below for quest line list.
I remember going to Vertus and using the song (This should be after the Malte quest) so I don’t know what is wrong. I think the quest line disappeared on me. Please look into this i’ve tried for like 4 hours to see where i should pick this up again.
Hey I found the solution.
I just went to Trixion and talked to Beatrice. She should give u an [Awakening Quest] which will let you get ur second awakening.
