Realistically there probably aren’t more than 30k humans playing Lost Ark on steam with the rest being bots. If they banned the bots, the “player” numbers would drop and make AGS look bad, so why would they ban bots? With the multitude of bots playing the game, they can sell the idea that their release of Lost Ark is a success to SG and media outlets.
Remember when SG was celebrating 800k concurrent users in the West? Until a bot ban wave dropped it to 200k? Welp, that’s embarrassing and probably why they’ll never mention the West again.
It’s embarrassing how the product is presented to new players (And to current players) where they only see bots. If I were the game developer I wouldn’t be happy with this.
This is totally the fault of AGS as control systems like EAC are their responsibility.
AGS proved incapable of handling problematic situations:
They failed to limit and eliminate bots (Even if they say they banwave, looking at the steamchart, there are still 300k permanent players)
But they promised, " new exiting marketing" to invite new players AFTER they will manage combat bots… and that will never happen.
It was mentioned like 6 months ago btw.
yes, when i read that the sales per roster will be limited, it was clear that more bots will be created… the scripts for this are quickly adapted. once again, the players have been further restricted. if only they would at least fix the DCs
You see they knew after they announced the roadmap that their player base won’t be happy. So they were hmmm people won’t like this. Contact our botter to increase the number of bots in the game to make it look like people are excited for what’s to come back.
Yep SG take 70% for this. Since Gold D River left the way they manage the game has been declined. 30% for Amz because they didn’t care about communication or players feeling. I’m in with this game because it’s good but Dev and NPH is an extremely negative point.

Nothing in both versions SG do anything. Expected Publisher to fix THEIR game talk about wtf moment. AGS clearly was unaware how SG moves.
The alt system, stupid Monster Hunter Maps, RMT, Pheons, Double chaos, Double Guardians, Direction of Puzzle Legion Raids to prevent bussing, the grind, casino stones- Gold River had a hand in designing or approving all those changes the community hates.

They’ve been trying to fix bots for months now, and suddenly you complain as if you expect people to jump away from their Christmas trees, read “The Secret” and have a eureka moment that solves bots just in time to stop you from grinching it up in the forums.
The best thing about this pictures is, people still buying gold from RMT websites in a game where people are leaving faster every month and almost no new player is coming back/in.
Nobody cares if you have 1590 ilvl with 100 Qual Wep and LvL 10 Gems - its embarassing if you bought it with Royal Crystal because supporting this version of the game financially is a joke by now and its embarassing if you bought it on RMT sites for obvious reasons.
