Am I right in thinking that there’s no transmog system for gear obtained from loot and that you’re limited to store outfits if you want to change your appearance?
There’s quite a lot of decent looking gear from what I’ve seen and it’d be a shame to not be able to use them as glamour.
As far as I know, you cannot use the gear as glamour/transmog unfortunately, only skins/avatars.
If you’re coming from FFXIV or WoW, that hurts a lot, I know the feeling, but the skins look incredible in LA, so don’t worry too much about it.

It’s quite disappointing in this day and age not to have a simple transmog system for players who want to use specific gear sets, or pieces, or combo’s, or w/e to create their own look being locked purely into “pay real money for avatar’s only or no customization for you” as it were.

Actually I didn’t know before (There is always something new to learn) but you can transmog your old gear and wear it as an avatar. Sorry for the mistake.
does it cost anything to transmog? gold? or crystals?

Great to know, I remember in beta there was an armor set given at the end of Arthetine that looked sick af (at least for gunner class) and I wanted to keep that

Only thing I know is you can do it apparently, but not where or how. Can you elaborate please?
