Please adjust the way you prevent bots from interacting with the market. It is WAY too intrusive to the average player to have to open and close the AH after each and every purchase. It is so annoying to use, having to re-search your item when you want to make several purchases at once. After it happens once and scans our buy history or whatever, it needs to verify us for a while so we can use the AH unfettered.
Please fix this ASAP as it is ruining the player experience.
you dont have to reopen the ah… just wait a little bit or spam click the buy button, unitl you get the “success” info box^^
doesent make this big brain move from ags not better but less painfull
This here is what I’m referring to. Closing the AH and going back will allow you to purchase. Try to buy up fish or honing mats back to back and you’ll end up with this annoying pop up @twiztid213
this is so annoying, and has potential to make you waste pheons if ur last accessory gets bought before you do after all the delay (= more profit from pheons for AGS, this probably was why they decided to keep it)
Also when you think about it, this does not delay bots’ abuse of AH at all since they are running scripts with maybe like 16+ accounts per computer/monitor
to me honestly all these “anti-bot measures” they argue its effectivity are just an excuse to make last minute milking method addition that they’ve never thought about before launching
after all these “changes” did we see drop in the # of bots? 90% will say no, it got worse if not
it should not be on the people, its up to the company to get rid of bots and should have 0 effect on the AH at all as they will just find ways around it like they have since day one…we gotta get someone on this lmao
Appreciate the feedback on this, it’s a delicate balance between having bot measures in place that are effective and negatively impacting regular players. Will see if there are any possible adjustments that can be made.
Currently it waste player so much time when trying to buy life skill material for stronghold crafting. Just send one of your developer and ask them to buy 9000 fish and see how long it takes. I am not exactly sure what this “history check” is suppose to prevent, but I am pretty sure bots don’t buy life skill mats? How about lift this check from life skill mats please.
the biggest problem I am having with this is when I want to buy something in bulk, for example logs or iron ore, the game only allows me to buy 990 at once, and if I want to buy 10k, I have to wait too much due to this system
Thanks for checking in on it! Even giving us 2-5 minutes of “verified time” or something like that would go a long way. It’s so tough to buy things in bulk with the way the purchasing system works. I’ve tried the spam method that someone suggested and it’s a little better but it’s still extremely obtrusive and difficult.
Obviously stopping bots is priority number 1 but if there is anything you are able to do to improve our experience, that would be great.
having to wait 10sec, if you want to buy multiple amounts of anything is really fun
there’s literally 1k bots in vern at any time on any server, but yea, having those “tools” are preventing the bots from using the auction house
pretty sure they never actually play their own game, thinking things like this are actually more useful against bots then in comparison to annyoing real players
this wouldnt be so bad if the auction house actually gave you the amount you order
for example say you want to buy the blue guardian stones for your armor upgrade you can see there is over 200k listed at say 3 gold you try to buy a stack of 10k then oh no you only got 1k out of your 10, so you go back try again then this message pops up making it more annoying then again same thing and its a cycle that tilts people and this goes for anything on auction house.
if the auction house actually gave you the amount you tried to purchase this wouldnt piss off the actual players as badly. now try to buy some ability stones knowing the first stone you cut wont be perfect you try to buy say 3 or more, can you see how this tilts people
