Finally got to 1415 yesterday I am really excited about valtan and everytime I try finding a party I get accepted only to be dropped for no reason. I cannot even whisper to ask why or report the toxic shits that do this. How can I progress further if I cannot do the fucking raid. Cant even do a matchmaking pub session. Cannot believe I grinded to get this. Fucking ass.
that’s exactly how i felt first week of valtan.
you gotta find a static group / guild to raid with or you probably will eventually just quit.
the game is very single-player-unfriendly in that regards as it expects everyone to group up and use discord for the most difficult content.
problem is that I have a guild that has not reached 1415 or everyone is at 1445
What i can advise you to do is try find People who are in your situation aswell like in the Lost ark Discord they have a LFG channel where People make posts to find Static Groups or just Weekly clear groups.
if you find a few People that are similar to you you can make a group of 4 and just connect with another group of 4 to clear the raid, or you are lucky and get a whole 8 man Static group together, if you only find DPS and you are 6 people you can Open a Party and try to find Random Supports to do the raid. you have many options regarding raiding people just forget about them sometimes since its mostly outside of the game.
well you can do what I do and just make your own group? If people still don’t join you maybe your stats or engraving are a lil iffy, idk

even with 3x3 Engravings Valtan NM is possible (Even less than 3x3 since Its an already nerfed Version).
People in the Western Community just take Optimized gear way too srsly for some content thats the main problem.
Can I ask what your engraving / stats setup is? i pug normal Valtan every week on a 1415 since release and have not had that experience at all.
Never had that experience at all. It may be your roster level? What is your roster level? Currently many players see <60 roster and think you are new and don’t know mechanics, that is why they drop you. I have okay roster level, 3x3 engravings right stats and have no issue getting into parties. Perhaps you are soulfist or deadeye player too?
Also please don’t report people for dropping you from parties, thats much more toxic. Create your own instead @philipmaisonneuve
This, if you and someone who has progressed valtan for a few weeks apply to the same party, obviously you will not be chosen. start up a learning party and find some similar players to progress with, it will be a much better experience than being carried anyway. if you enjoy yourself get their info to stay in contact or static up so you don’t face it next week :). grats on 1415 and have fun with valtan
For my first Argos and Valtan I just did a match making just to get an idea of what the fight was about without expectations to kill it before going to party finder. Maybe a happy medium you can try.

eyyy i did that too with gate 1 and argos 1 lol. its much less efficient for later phases though but a great starting point
Simple. Make your own party. Other party leaders have all the rights to decline you anytime. Nothing toxic about that. It’s like, If I don’t like your build, class or even your dress or your name, I can decline you. It’s my party, my decision. Think about that this way. Even I have been declined multiple times with my 1475 paladin, because they wanted bard or lancer instead of me. That’s totally fine. Make your own party.
