Viability of manning a guild yourself

What are your guys’ thoughts on making a guild and just funding it yourself with 18 characters?

I mean it would be slower def. but you don’t have to put up with the bullshit that is the current guild system where you get a penalty for being kicked from a guild even when you have 300-400 contribution weekly.

On top of the fact that having to “dedicate” yourself to a guild when you have X alts each in different guilds is just never going to happen.

So this is half rant about one of the worst guild implementations I have ever seen across mmos and also a question for anyone that might have tried to do this.

This is what i’ve been doing, since I’m the only active player remaining on my server, and had inherited 5 dead guilds.

So now all my chars are in the same guild and the leveling / guildstones is actually going pretty well, ofcourse depending how active I am.

But just logging in 16 chars per day to do the donation / help research should make plenty of sylmael and guild level.

Same. It’s slower but then again I am in no rush… if you can’t commit to an active guild then just make your own and put all your alts in.

Here is my progress of my own guild. It is worth it to have 18 toons in there and donating 6k silver daily. I just started the lvl 4 shop upgrade. Started this guild like in the 2nd week after getting booted for no reason. It is some work though to get it going for sure, but you only have to do the starting quests in prideholm to get them to join your guild so they can donate the 6k silver and the upgrade tasks. It is useful as well to funnel the bloodstones to certain toons by changing the percentages based on contribution. That direct control is nice to ensure you get the most bloodstones on which character you want them on. Also people suck in this game and this is the WORST guild mechanics I have ever seen in any MMO.
