Running vykas last week we had medusa show up at the start of the fight for the first 5 wipes, after that it completely stopped until we did swamp mechanic for the 2nd time and it only appeared sometime after it. Not sure what its like this week just yet
That not about Medusa, she do ALL of her late mech at the beginning.
Simple Medusa can apear at 180x and Super Medusa after.
The late mech is :
-Worms
-Blood rain with red aoe dmg
-Tentacles from portals
-Multiple Jumps in a row
I didnt see other cause we just try few times for having fun about this new ai

maybe its a damage change pushing through mechs faster? was it with the same group? strange

this week we got tons of medusa/chains right after start of the encounter. last week way late into the fights (or not at all). not sure if rng or something was changed, but it doesnt change much. its still random patern u can get
Happened to us too. It happened right at 188hp.
Well, if you got this problem, just stop the raid, and get in again, it will back to normal pattern

Its just random, I saw groups having medusa at start of the fight day 1.
Can confirm on my HM g3 run with pug she used medusa 2 seconds after the fight started. Next reset she did it again a little bit later. This didn’t happen week one till after tentacles.
Nearly impossible is a bit too much. Just gotta dodge the chains and never look at medusa before 100x, it doesn’t change that musch. Took my group 3 pulls to get used to it.
Yeah, people are just clueless at what to do as soon as they can’t strictly follow the guides.
Last week on our very first attempt we got instant Medusa, this week we got one at like 70 bars or something on our clear, it’s completely random.
I cleared the entire HM with a pug in like 1h30mins, idk what’s the issue for people reclearing stuff.

Youre literally so self obsessed lmao, theres more ppl complaining about this. She does chains from the start, drops blood orbs on ppl, medusa very often from start (i get thats random) but 4 tries in a row from the start, sometimes even twice at the start. She constantly spams mechanics that are “supposed” to be at the end of the fight from the start. And the problem is us lmao okay. Not to mention Im doing normal mode, felt like hard mode…

As I said, last week we got Medusa literally as soon as she spawned on the first try. Long term, it’s better to get way more difficult mechs early on than for them to appear when you’re already close to killing her. That way you can practice Medusa more and it’s actually not even difficult. If you’re really struggling, you can timestop the second one.

This game is really easy, it’s all about practice and memorizing the patterns. Doesn’t require a lot of mechanical skill, except for a few classes. We finally get some good content and you people just run the forum to complain after failing a few times.

Much like everything in this game, it’s just RNG.

Good that you figured it out.
The “bug” is that the mechs can happen at the start every run.
It is rng if you get medusa or other mechs right as the encounter starts.
If you fail and restart, it does not appear to be rng anymore, you will continue to get medusa at the start every time until you quit raid, remake party, and re-enter.
This is exactly what we did. We dont wanted to waste more pots but still beatable if you like more fun.

I noticed the same thing last week, after a couple hours of tries we stopped the raid to swap members, when we got back in she was just doing one mechanic after the other, only after we remade the raid again it went back to normal. So the best thing to do is restart the raid.
