1460 is extremely expensive to achieve most players who didnāt start as support didnāt swap to support. There were many vocal players who wished to see artist and would swap but we never got her. As it stands it took me 2 weeks and 17 characters feeding a 1400 bard to get her to 1460. But many donāt have that ability or option to have their group hard feed for a support. There will always be a support shortage at the top end until we get large dead periods of content. Players simply dont have the income to make large pushes on classes, on top of support itself being generally disliked by a majority of players you get a perfect storm.

Or just do Normal ā¦ normal doesnāt hurt as bad as Hard and doesnāt require support with higher Ilvl gear
You could, but then you lose a large amount of gold and you take twice as long to finish your relic set. Thereās a reason thereās so many 1460ās doing NM, whether due to lack of supports for 1460 groups or because theyāre bad and cant handle the mechs in HM.

I keep seeing this claim time and time again. Yet no one has ever provided proof for NA clearing Vykas hard 1 2 and 3 without a support.

Gate 1 is probably easiest of them all, without support. You just need to learn patterns, maybe youāll get hit sometimes but you are gonna use like max 1 potion on human form and 4 on demon, that should be enough. Iāve played through it in a grp without support.
G2-G3 has some more BS mechs which you may take damage from but are possible to do without support as well.
It is just that the majority of players want support so they donāt have to care much about general patterns just the wipe mechanics. Itās more chill to play with a support.

Hmmm, maybe took a look on the history of GW2.
They did it originally so grps without heal/tank could succeed - all it did was make those obsoleteā¦
The way to fix it is giving the community time to adjust. As dumb as it sounds.
People who donāt find grps as DD will reroll to Support and at some point it will be more or less evened out.
Valtan HM has become much better already (still a supp shortage, but not as bad as it was 2 months back) and so will Vykas in a month or two.
If you think there is such a thing as a free carry on Vykas right now with pugs, that tells more about you than it does about supports.
Also: Would you join a grp where the avg is 4x3 and 1462, or would you join the grp where everyone has 5x3 and GS1500?
It is as simple as that! Unless you are in a static, everyone looks out for themselves before thinking about someone they never played with before and probably will never againā¦
Once you get used to the attack patterns you can easily do Vykas without a support. Only p2 might be a bit difficult, but only if your dps is low.
Soooo you complain about lack of supports, and will decline based on roster level which means literally nothing in this game after 60. Seems a bit stupid to me but hey you enjoy not being able to find supports, Iām gonna continue to easily find supports and run through Vykas.
Well maybe he doesnt want to play freaking support? Stop saying this to everyone who says they are looking for support, man.
Not wanting to play support is fine, but if youāre a full group and thereās no support that probably means theyāre bad and supports donāt want to be a part of weak groups when they can get better ones.

Not having a static or being part of an organised guild 5 months after release to run your Vikass HM at least for your main is on you, period.
You have everything at hand to be organised. Guess what im managing the google sheet of a whole guild of 60 players and at the VERY least i pull off 7 HM groups, best raid took 35 min to clear all 3 gates and are already bored of hard mode because when you play seriously and know patterns it is just easy.
Then we have an alternate google sheet for big alts to run even more raids, its smaller groups of like 5-6 people and all do the same, two deaths = kick, rince and repeat and like that it takes 2h to clear a HM even with alts.
Main recruitment rule for my guild was that everyone must have a main alt support to ensure we will run content all the time.
That was an advice from all KR veterans and we religiously followed it. And it worked out perfectly fine.
So as a lot of people said its a YOU problem.
To conclude : vikass is the last āeasyā raid we will have, then comes kakul and Brelshaza. If you cant organise or be friendly enough to organise quick and smooth easy raid like Vikass, better stop LA right now cause it wil get way worse for you when Kakul is released.
