Vykas Lost Entry Count

My modem or just the local area connection was having issues this morning. I had multiple disconnects during raiding where I would come back. Sometimes eating an entry count and sometimes met with…


Whatever the case it was nothing malicious, but now I am however left with

and can no longer enter gate 2 or gate 3 of Vykas this week. Odd that for some disconnects a ticket would be issued and for others it would slip through the system. I think a total of 2 tickets were issued for various content earlier today. If it’s all the same problem, I don’t see why I wouldn’t be issued a ticket each time… so Ideally I’d like a Vykas entry count restoration ticket to be considered thrown my way!

Thank you for sharing your concern related to lost entry.

For your information, we have a system that takes care of this type of situation to provide the ticket back in very specific scenarios, we can’t guarantee that the player will be receiving a ticket.

Well that’s a stern cringe. This system honestly sucks then.

I do have a stable connection, just not this morning, and there’s no human to human interaction or actual GM that can see I have not completed the content, and yet I am locked out?

How many royal crystals do I need to buy to purchase a GM’s help?

Your case is lost as many others before you, I am afraid. Venting frustration on CM won’t help you any, they literally can’t do anything other than moderate forum’s threads.

Currently, we don’t have a way to re-grant daily or weekly entries to content manually, due to this we are not able to give you the rewards.

Oh I know. This game is an automated cash flip into English with no support and heavy microtransactions. (and we all signed up to play)

I’ve lost Valtan (practicing as the server went down) - no re-entry
I’ve lost 3-4 purple portals + 3rd area of Chaos Dungeons - when it was bugged
I’ve lost Vykas Gate 2+3 - today
I’ve lost Argos x2 - [EAC OFFLINE] game kick

and a handful more chaos dungeons + another valtan I believe from random crashes.

Something that would help is if the amount of time it took to log back into the game was drastically decreased, it takes over 3 minutes to enter the world? I have other MMO’s I play where it takes less than 20 seconds.

Yeah, I lost my fair share of entry counts, too. Even the god damned Ghost Ship, game DC’ed, I respawned and no loot, see ya next week. Next week same story, I had 3 consecutive weeks without Ghost Ship. Really frustrating. The automatic system is supposed to give you re-entry ticket when it’s server fault but if EAC f*** ups you don’t get any.

I know, right? :smiley: But it’s the game engine problem, game uses UE3 and that’s why it takes so long to load + added loading time of EAC doesn’t help any.

We’re sorry the current system makes no exceptions and limits attempts at content, but remember those same rewards can be purchased in the Marketplace if you missed out!

I got DC’d yesterday with EAC being shitty. I relogged and received an Entry Ticket. But before I use it, I checked first if my initial entry have used (of course it was used). While im at that Raid Window (one that shows your weekly entry count) it says “Weekly enry count exceeded”, then I used the entry ticket and it shows the same, weekly entry count exceeded. Im like, WTF? But I did tried to get into a party and it let me in and finish the raid.

Happy Ending? Not sure I’ve seen this verbage on a restoration ticket before… is this normal wording?

I just ran into the same issue during Vykas and got my weekly attempt stolen - hoping their automated process can refund my entry for this week.

Have they made any official statement or announcement saying they are actually looking at this proactively (they = SmileGate)? This is an integration issue between the game client and the anti-cheat engine and I’m sure AGS is not responsible for any of this. If not, it’s incredibly out of touch for a live-service to neglect such a user experience degrading issue.
