Knowing AGS/SG’s track record it’d probably be the last week of June not cause of the current situation just cause 
. They will probably make a temporary log in reward after the 6/16 and extend the events.
You may as well get your Vykas, it’ll likely be the last big content patch the game sees at current trajectory.

If delaying the update could alleviate bots, I’d take it. But I know it won’t change anything. If Vykas update got delayed due to game-breaking bug, I also wouldn’t care. I don’t care about the update itself, I just don’t see a point in an empty PR move

You are eventually going to hit a tippign point at this rate where it is no longer financially viable to keep the servers up in NA/EU as is stands today.

I care about the next content update right now. Speak for yourself man. It sucks people on the west coast are stuck in massive queues. And AGS should at least allow those players to transfer regions. But NAW has had so many issues since launch that I dont know how people havent swapped. Im on UNA NAE and aside from launch I was only ever stuck in queue once.
Usually after 1 week, so if the calendar ends 16, vykas come 23 I think.
Sincerelly I dont care so much, doing dailys & weeklys, rest of the time playing EVE and other stuff as always, in 2022 play a single game all day long its a bit crap for me (even more when you have queves…). so I dont care about if Vykas come in 1 week or 1 month.

Azena had a 2k queue at 9am this morning.
Yeah I just logged in no queue yet but every server is busy LOL. I know Azena had queues yesterday but Una didnt have a queue so well see how bad it gets.
This was VERN CASTLE yesterday… 124 channels

Just real quick, viability of bots is based on whether it is profitable or not. For FFXIV, wealth =/= progression. So it is widiely unprofitable to bot in FFXIV outside of niche scenarios. Whether a game is paid or not is irrelevant if your profit margin is greater than the sub cost.
We get the point that the bots are an issue. They need to address that stuff immediately I agree. But they dont need to delay releasing content just to address it. The game is popping off whether people wanna admit it or not. Bots are insane right now because so many people are buying gold.
