According to ppl, its okay to get punished for playing efficiently and have nothing to do in-game but its not okay to get punished for playing inefficiently and instead everyone’s gotta wait for them. “AGS did this so they gotta have the data showing ppl are not at 1415”. Yeah most are at 1400 just lvling alts cause you get way more out of getting an alt to 1370 or 1385 or 1400 out of getting your main to 1415 cause surprise 1415 literally gives you N o t h i n g.

Obviously there’s variation between ppl, but if you decided not to make alts then you’ll get almost 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6 of the mats another person who decided to make alts gets from chaos, guardians (roughly, cause alts will usually be lower ilvl and that means they generate less mats so maybe 1/4 or 1/5 from a person that has 6 alts), and that is your choice and ppl who got 6 alts should not be punished for it (playing efficiently), you’d think we play 12 hrs+ but in reality it takes 20-30 mins to finish your dailies on each char *6 thats 2-3 hrs a day (it takes more time to lvling them up but qll it takes is for you to do tower which doesnt take much time, and story which is 2 hrs of clicking g (maybe you can do that in the weekend)).

My point is, more alts = more mats = easier to lvl the next alts and it just gets easier exponentially going on = obv more mats for main too, you can choose not to make alts but please dont consider yourself avg player cause avg players should be ppl playing the game efficiently to an avg point, at least having 2 t3 alts is what i believe.

I’m f2p that cant make 7 characters so im stuck with a 1400 and 1370 and 3 1340 waiting for LM to release as 6th and hitting 1370+ today with enough mats and still leftover on other characters. I belive i played ineffiecntly, theres lot of stuff that i didnt do or did wrong. I dont cosider myself hardcore f2p, there’s actual f2p with higher than 1415, some with multiple 1415 alts ready for valtan. These ppl are the hardcore f2p and even if you think they’re above the curve there’s also 1415s playing 1 character just playing efficiently.

Im not saying if they did it you can too, its different for each player some played market some tried and gambled and it failed, some had more prior knowledge, my idea is you shouldn’t feel the need to be on the same exact progression as someone who plays 6 times the characters you play, being 6 times as efficient as you are, heck some have 12 characters which i cannot understand but hey they should definitely be rewarded for it imo.

Tldr: ppl who play more efficiently, or put more time should be rewarded not punished, and ppl who dont wanna make alts shouldn’t feel the need to be on the exact progression as ppl who play 6 or 12 alts (obv i know there’s ppl who play 1 char that are 1415+ as f2p but if you’re not them then youre not them).

i bet, not even 10% of the players over1400 are even close to get all greater skillpoint potion, which gives way more dps then a little bit gearupgrade, in KR they laugh their ass of that most people in the west are so stupid to not realise that you do more dps with more skillpoints instead of getting gear from 1400+ content

I have 600 hours and never missed a daily and im not 1415.

  1. If you’re F2P and have been playing since or close to release, you can certainly be 1400-1415 on a main without swiping. Have quite a few guildies who have done so.

Regardless of that observation, doing Chaos, Abyss Raid & Dungeons, multiple Exchange avenues, Events, Login Rewards, Unas, Gold obtained by selling, crafting, general activities, etc. could definitely get you there by now if you’re using materials wisely. I see there’s plenty of people who claim otherwise here and it’s simply nonsense. Your personal ‘struggling’ does not mean it’s not possible. There’s plenty of evidence to the contrary.

  1. A lot of people parked their main between 1385 and 1400 to work on alts have a LOT of materials saved up. Delaying content using metrics to gauge how many people aren’t 1415 yet is a bit silly because there’s a considerable amount of players who have just been waiting for a reason to aggressively push to 1415.

If it’s going to be a regular thing to have content delayed due to people who play less, less effectively, or aren’t willing/able to spend money, that’s not a great system. Nothing wrong w/ being F2P, but the more hardcore player base whether they spend money (in which case they are directly financially contributing to your game) or are just really efficient in what they do shouldn’t be penalized because of it. Let the people who pushed more aggressively engage in the higher content and others will catch up eventually and do the content at their own pace.

well the claim is not that some lucky dude can do it the claim is that people should reach it no problem and this is not true.
u need pretty nice rng or gold pump to make it .
And again u have to exclude some stuff , as extrem wealth through the early market, extrem high value sells on argos accesories, etc…
I did not skip a single day , i did not abuse maris shop properly , i was to late to argos and well i m struggling.
And i m not even that unlucky at honing … So it has nothing to do with possible the question is. are generally the people with this effort at this point or could reach it and the answer is NO .

I hit 1370 with last reset and am 1380 now with one (1) T3 alt at 1340 helping me with mats and gold.

That’s it.

Been playing since headstart every day with one week interruption.

You won’t get any reason from these guys. For them, they’re 1400 with a stockpile of everything to get them to 1445 in mere moments and are completely baffled how you aren’t there yet.

There’s no point in arguing with them. For them we are to blame they can’t slap Valtan now.

Shrug it off and continue at your own pace. I will take my month or two to get there… eventually but steadily.

If they want to amp the statistics they can hone themselves up now so they get Valtan in one month.

im actually fairly certain they know exactly what the outrage was for.

the difference here is that, players wanted too be coddled all the way too valtan but they want to set expectations for people who dont mindlessly stalk forums, streams and reddit for information.

imagine right, they added honing buffs and ppl breeze through to 1415. then hit 10% honing while pushing for +16 for 1430 and all of a sudden now they are outraged the honing buffs are so low.

they’d say smilegate and amazon "lied’ to them and tricked them into thinking progression would be easier then it really is all so they would “spend money”.

it was a lose lose situation for SG/AGS

Zero more alts are getting above 1340 til they do something (less gaming at least for me :joy: )

Personally I leveled to 1415 because I don’t trust my luck and it would suck to get unlucky and get stuck on patch day.

But people are parking at 1400 because there’s literally 0 difference between 1400 and 1415 in our version. If you work on alts, you’re playing the long game because your alts will generate more gold/mats for your main. Also 1400->1415 is not a 4 week endeavor, so players feel like they can work on alts for a bit then go back to their main when they announce Valtan. This is honestly too much risk for not enough reward IMO, but it’s what the majority are doing

Also after seeing their attitude, I feel like I may have made the wrong choice in pushing to 1415. I feel like these guys are going to make another dumb decision and delay Valtan to June.

But all of that was true.

The only reason why people are magically ok with pushing content now is because the events over a long period of time caught some people up.

Honestly they took it as an excuse to drip it even more…but to be 2 1/2 months in with only +1 new class is kinda terrible.
