Wait are you kidding

There is also a difference between slow dripping content and just turning the faucet off.

I’m F2P, 1400 with 4 alts at 1340. My horizontal progression is done beyond what is gated behind Rapport or Una tasks.

There is very little to look forward to until the likely end of May with this patch and the daily repeat loot is getting very old very quick

“April” Content but I guess they’re releasing most of the South Vern content on May? LMAO
They don’t expect people to reach 1415 from April 21st to 28th, right?

yea true, Im at 1387 im already at 188 fails if not more. And i am still long way many more fails to 1400

Because that’s the vision Gold River has for this game. Swipers/hardcores can hone beyond the necessary ilvl, but in the other regions f2ps and more casual players have never been gated from content. This is why GR is heralded as a great man by many Koreans.

Im 141 f2p i play with 3 others whobare also f2p one is 1398 other is 1409 and last is 1400 and we all have an alt at 1370+

With the calendar rewards lined up to 25 days + 10 we’re looking at valtan by May 26th… If it’s not delayed lol

I agree. Most that started day 1 and have atleast 2 or 3 alts is 1400 on their main complelty f2p

With a 2 week delay for good measure on top

Gating content is the wrong way to go about things if they want to maintain a balance between whales/proggers and f2p/casuals. Instead of neutering content (content is actually important for player retention), he should instead stop drip feeding honing materials and let f2p/casual catch up at a much faster rate. There shouldn’t be any reason to gate contents.

Yes, they could do exactly as you said or they could leave honing rate unchanged for now and drip feed hold content either way arrive at the same result. AGS chose the other way.

why would anyone hit 1415 if there is no 1415 content , everyone is upgrading alts thats literally why , if they release 1415 shit people will stop focus on alts and just upgrade their main alsoooo moake is a 1415 boss and people been doing it since they were 1340 me included it makes no sense why we are not getting the boss and the chaos gate

I don’t know, I want to hit 1400+… Maybe I am not a alt person ? I enjoy playing alt casually but not using them as a way to progress should you say ?>

I agree with this actually. With no 1415 content, people have no definite reason to push to 1415. If they release 1415 content, people will have the urge to hone until 1415 with the honing mats they will get on Weekly Chaos Line Dungeon.

i agree, i’ve said since day 1 that the honing buff should have been in at launch then we wouldn’t have to be in this situation, but the community said no, and az/sg pulled the plug on it which was an enormous error then and we see now why. so their only option is to put up the stop sign now, so the swipers don’t feel like they wasted their money, and we all get to wait for who knows how long through a content drought of the community’s own making. wee.

doubt it very very hard.
Without prior game knowledge, no lifing and playing the market.
You may assume so because in your small guild that ( is only recruiting 1370 players) everyone is high ilvl.
You have to see the great picture not only your small circle of hardcore players

there are plenty of reasons to gate content.
Let’s say tomorrow you would release the latest korean content patch with the latest raid and a hyper express to 1450, that would make ALL the previous content absolutely irrelevant and people wouldn’t / couldn’t experience the full game.
That is also if you don’t give a hyper express because nowadays everyone is always rush rush rush to endgame no matter what and then complain lul 1 raid for 5 month.
What do you expect will happen once you reach korean levels? Do they get content patches with new raids and dungeons every month? (I don’t follow but highly doubt it)
So actually enjoy that you can get new content every month instead of having tons of content for 1 month and then still doing only 1 raid at the end and wait 6 month for a new update

also of course monthly releases will have higher player retention and more money poured into the pool

That’s totally fine not having alts. You can still progress at a decent pace but alts benefit a lot especially to weekly gold income that is of course when we get some more content.

I can admit to be one of the example out there with 0 prior knowledge even bought a founder pack to head start and in the end, I am not 1415 with 3 alts in T3 already by now LOL…

I messed up a bunch lvling I initially did gunlancer and i dropped him mid T2 for zerker main.

That’s exactly what is happening to the guild I am in. There are already 20+ ppl from my guild with ivl 1400+ with highest at 1452 and they have little to no desire to continue pushing on honing as 1400 is enough for Argos P3. They all started working on alts etc. and can’t really say they are enjoying the repetitive experience from the conversations we had.

As someone who isn’t ready for valtan normal or hard, I think slowing content release is dumb. Get us even with Korea asap. There’s no reason to wait for a large percentage of players. Push content, and push materials and gold so people can reach that content. They’ve already stated this game has highest player retention with Raids. So get us there.

Yea I can totally see that But that is still a small percentage of player base compare to the mass majority which is probably in T2 right now lol
