Yeah I understand where you are coming from, I had to change servers now to play with friends and lost quite some progress so basically I lost the whole headstart and parts of the founder packs. I give also two poos about the packs though because it is as half-butted as everything so far 
Locking things down without any possible transfer is just the worst posible thing to do, the game is already dying for many as a result, no one wants and to join if they can’t join their friends. all the english servers are locked down, good job AGS!

This is the downfall of the game for tons of people if they don’t find a better response asap.
If it was just me, I’d start over in a heartbeat. But it’s not.
It’s me and 26 other people. I’m not asking them to all start over, and I shouldn’t be in a position to have to.

I feel terrible about this since my friends and I enjoy the game but jeesh this feels awful for my community. I don’t even have words…
Now our entire group is getting discouraged.
Yeah I think a fast and overcompensating response is the only way to save it, not bread crumbs thrown at us piece by piece. They shouldn’t be afraid to give refunds or rollback decisions already made before its too late entirely.
Same situation with my guild and friend groups. No one is happy about the forced segregation being caused by locked servers.
Half of us did head-start and progressed quite a bit, advanced the guild, spent our coins in shop, and don’t have any interest in re-rolling on another server. The ones that are starting today are seriously aggravated and turned off knowing they can’t join the rest of the guild.
Putting you and so many people into that situation is the worst tbh, having to deal with something out of your control but still feeling responsible (at least that’s how I am feeling)
I hope there is a solution to all of this but I’m pessimistic.
Server transfers are not supported by the game engine.
Nah, don’t feel like it.
Like I feel preordering the package was a pay to lose feature at this point… Surely I’m dreaming right and things are not truly being handled this badly -.-

It’s not usually about anything more than Databases being on their own servers and messing with them while they are online and active has to be planned for. Could they remove the data from 1 character and move it to another server? Probably, but is the processes stream lined for a mass deployment of a feature they want to allow? Probably not. Editing intertwining database items could be a nightmare to implement depending on how it was “Grown” during its development. Fingers and tendrils of datapoints could be going to all sorts of things from Reporting jobs, to base game functions, to who knows what…

This is real problem and would still been problem even if there was no early access. People would joined the game and had to wait in queue of English server. At one point they got tired of it and roll to another server just to find out they are now in server what server chat looks like Mexican soap opera. It’s sh#tsnakcs from multiple fronts…
-they don’t have server transfer
-they didn’t have enough server
-they had no plan on how to deal with different languages
…and their solutions is what? Delete all your progression and reroll into next server.
Can a Dev please respond to my question.
Why are you guys simply not offering a powerpass or whatever so we can just switch servers and not lose our progress? I wouldnt mind switching to play with friends if you gave me a powerpass to level up a character so my progress isnt lost.
So im confused do i get back my boxes of stuff from founders when i go to a new server or not
If you haven’t redeemed your packs yet, you can use them on another server. If you already redeemed your pack on a server its locked there. In this case you will get SOME items from the founders pack as described here which will be redeemable either on a new server or on your current one:
This is not everything that is in a founders pack, for example in platinum you won’t get these items again and are basically lost if you don’t intent to play on the old server:
- 60 Resurrection Feathers
- 50,000 silver
- Character Expansion Slot
- 5 Adventurer’s Equipment Crates
- Gatherer’s Tool Chest
- Hero’s Ascent Chest (Level 20)
- Hero’s Ascent Chest (Level 30)
- Hero’s Ascent Chest (Level 40)
- Hero’s Ascent Chest (level 50)
(you won’t get Aura and Crystals as well but Aura is account-wide and crystals too as long as you didn’t spend them)
